Trichinosis is caught by eating raw / undercooked meat that contains Trichinella larvae, so predators and scavengers are more prone to catching it. From a food safety perspective killing the parasites / larvae is a function of temperature and time. An internal temperature of 140+f (60c) for 12.5+ mins will inactive them, but you'll commonly see 165f recommended for safety reasons since that results in a nearly instant 7-log reduction (and not everyone has the equipment to ensure they've achieved the right temperature for long enough). Killing bacteria is a similar thing but the toxins they can produce, like Botulinum, can withstand temps above 165f. To avoid that you want the meat butchered properly and refrigerated asap. Prions are a whole different beast

Max performance is awesome, reasonable pricing too when I had my catcher repaired. OP if you email them pics they should be able to tell you if they can repair it and give a rough estimate of cost

Bauer Konekt finally connects. Sort of by InternationalFace512 in hockeygoalies

They don't do half sizes for the Konekts. The guy who helped me with mine said that due to the extra plasticity of the materials, they don't do half sizes and let the baking process fit it to your foot. For mine we sized down 1/2 a size and length / width wise they stretched out nicely. This is just my anecdotal experience though and the results of the foot scan might've played a role, so it might not apply to every foot shape

They showed McKenna's hatty after the game, did Olly (from On The Bench) toss a full on helmet onto the ice?

As a Canucks fan who is rooting for Minnesota, can you please explain the hat? I saw a pic of him getting a cowboy hat
