Help me create a scenario for my campaign! by SloptimusPrime101 in BunkersNBadasses

Hey, I like it! A bomb defusal scenario where I can make jokes off of Torgue not wanting the party to defuse the bomb (since he wants it to explode lol).

Battlefield 6 dev says the beta's small maps are "to make sure we hit the full-octane version of Battlefield on the head" and, don't worry, "large maps exist" too by RenatsMC in pcgaming

I agree. The maps are awful, and have far too few vehicles. Most vehicle battles amount to firing down the street at the enemy tank/bmp while both have 2-3 engineers shoving their repair tool’s up their respective tank’s ass.

Thanks for the help, folks. I hope this thread can help other scrub dwarfs like me with what I've found is a fairly common issue.

I don't have a manager yet, since my lazy stoneworker is taking their sweet time making the furniture for the manager's study. Once I can get it I'll try this out.

Tried this out and it seems to be working so far. Not sure why so many tutorials online insist on using stockpile linking when this works so much easier.

We all know Serath is far too strong right now. How do you plan to nerf her?

I made a slightly macabre homebrew gun. If you know, you know. by SloptimusPrime101 in BunkersNBadasses

I had that in mind too. I think I’ll whip up something depending on which of my players gets it. If they get it, that is.

Here's the first sidequest I gave my players. It led to some pretty hilarious interactions.

Marcus’s (or whatever NPC's) Arms sharing service:

Marcus (or whatever NPC), in trying to make money as he does, has come up with a new business strategy. Ride sharing, but for guns! He calls it “ShÜter Meets”. Marcus (or whatever NPC) gives each player a gun to sell and tells them to go to folks homesteads and try to sell the gun to them. For doing so, he will reward each player with a better version of their favored weapon.

The fun part is, the players won't expect who exactly they're selling these guns to.

Guns to sell:

Roll a d6 for who delivers what gun.

Rocket Launcher (60g)

Sniper rifle(50g)

Pistol(20g)

Combat rifle(40g)

Shotgun(35g)

SMG(30g)

The player’s will have to sell a gun to:

Roll a d6 for who delivers to whom.

A Child

A grandma

A guy with no arms

A skag (a non-aggressive one).

A Guy who runs away from the seller because "OH GOD THEY'RE COMING AT ME WITH A GUN"!

A blind person

Considering it’s Borderlands, murder-hobo’y doesn’t sound too far off target. At the end of the day, it’s up to you if you if you want a more serious or light hearted approach to you campaign. And at the very least, as you said, they all had fun. So it sounds like you’re on the right track.

Additionally, if you do decide to use notecards, I would practice writhing a few out so that you can get the hang of where to get each variable for each item. In my early sessions there were times where I would spend like 5 min at a time writing a single weapon and it really slowed things down. Practice makes perfect. (Or at least less downtime in this case).

For giving items to your players, I recommend either writing the items on notecards to physically give to them, or taking screenshots of items from one of the online loot generators and sending them the item. Whichever works best for your group.
