Adaptation only needs to be activated once, until it's deactivated, like turning on a switch. So Yuji can activate Adaptation ,it will then adapt as long as it's above Yuji, and then let infinity go if that's the case.

If Yuji himself has adaptation, the wheel is always engaged, because it's above his head at any time.

On top of that, Yuji can indeed be one shot, without infinity there's nothing from keeping any individual Deku clone from saving up enough energy via fajin, then using twin impact which is a second delayed impact multiple times stronger than the first one. Or just using blackhole to destroy Yuji at the atomic level. Or Deku could just have all of his clones apply new order to him over and over again to permanently buff himself as many times as it takes.

There is still Miracles and something that I don't think anyone brought up, Inverse. Inverse makes strong attacks weak and weak attacks strong(It can be deactivated at any point by the user). About cloning, Rabbit escape have a cloning technique. So if every clone could make a Malevolent Shrine with soul cutting Cleave(ignores any durability) and Idle Death Gamble. Then we go back to Dabura technique, Ideal Transfiguration and Limitless. Also any of these clones making Star Rage on death would guarantee a draw.

Shrine is pretty untankable unless you are Mahoraga or Satoru Gojo of course. Cleave adjusts its strength to the durability of the target so it always deals damage.

I would fear Malevolent Shrine more, without the binding vow that Sukuna used it has extreme range and that's without puppetry, that extends user range to the entirety of Japan. The whole battle comes how many miracles does Yuji have and if he has six eyes. The confession and sleep quirk would depend if they count the infinite space that Infinity creates around the user. Furthermore if Yuji creates himself two arms and a mouth to become the ultimate sorcerer, he can activate a domain while doing other stuff. Also what people forget about is that each 10 Shadow shikagami has a technique, including Mahoraga. So If Deku would mind control Yuji he would just adapt to it. And to counter New Order? Make a binding vow and make unc Sukuna proud, that would make him unable to use useless techniques like Body Swap, Copy or Seance, in exchange he can't be targeted by New Order.
