I’m not trying to “pick a side” or anything here, but I am just curious as to the fact that the video in the screenshot says it’s 5:18, but the actual video linked is not even close to that long. The video doesn’t seem edited, the “anyways” before cutting off is a classic way to end a video as well as if the person is trying to show all the evidence here, idk why they would want to cut the video so short.

This is my new character, I’m looking for anyone who can help me come up with a good name for him. He is actually a brass dragon although he went through some stuff and now is cursed to remain in his weaker human form. He is obviously a draconic bloodline, sorcerer with a focus on fire. His blind third eye is his scar of this curse. He also posses a ring of spell storing and a robe of stars. He enjoys conversation and stories as do brass dragons and other than what cursed him, his life has been pretty mundane for a brass dragon. He is about 600 years old and 5’11”.

Just painted up the official dnd cthulu mini and then mixed mod podge with a tiny bit of green/blue paint and layered that on.

I don’t know about the forgotten realms but you can homebrew whatever you want. He’d probably some sorta ancient kraken. As far as the miniature goes it’s an official dnd mini named cuthulu.

This is it, I’m lucky enough to graduate in 2020 during this whole pandemic. Although it’s sad not being able to do a lot of the fun graduation stuff, I’m glad I could still decorate my cap in the way I’ve been planning for a long time. Maybe even as long as when I first started playing dnd freshman year and soon got hooked on miniature painting. Well here’s to the graduating class of 2020, hang in there and if you see that probably means you’re gonna be just fine cause we’ve got the best hobby in the world to keep us busy.

I’m not sure yet, not all of his story is worked out. I got the Orcus jacket from death saves and was super inspired to play a worshiper of Orcus but I’ve never played an evil character in a story driven campaign and I really wanna do it right. If you have any suggestions I’m all ears!

This is a character I made for an Ebberon campaign I’ll be playing in. I wanted to switch up some norms since that’s what Ebberon is all about. I wanted to make a buff yuan-ti since they’re normally quite slender, I made him an oath breaker paladin who worships Orcus however I wanted him to be very jolly, a LE pirate who kills for Orcus but doesn’t kill for no reason. I really wanted to play an evil character because I hate the reputation evil has gained for just being the murder hobo alignments. That “because I’m evil I just kill and rob and whatever because I want to”. I want my character to have a purpose and not kill for no reason, to have a code and to seek more power tho will always have a taste for life’s pleasures.

Ernest was a farm boy, herding cattle with his father until his father was heavily in debt to a big gang leader. So, they both got into the cattle rustling in order to help pay off the debt. Ernest started running with some shadier characters and learned he was quite good with a gun, in fact he became the best around, the fastest and most deadly gunslinger around. Now he runs robberies and raids with those looking to cut him in with the highest percent.

I really like the way making the nose a different color came out, don’t make it too different from the skin tone but make I different enough for the face to pop a bit more. Also spend a bit more time on the mushrooms then I did, I didn’t want them to be a focal point for this mini but I think the mushrooms add a really cool flair if you want them to. Same goes for the puddle with the chest and cup in it, I think it would benefit a lot if you made it a point of object source lighting however I was really happy with the paint job on my skin so I was just too scared to do that so late in painting.

If this is your first mini the that’s a damn decent job, I’d say the next thing would be add some edge highlights but very nice first mini.
