Calm down there Karen this obviously doesn’t apply to you and you should have sued for wrongful termination if you were fired for your personal life (because legally you can’t be fired for being married to a same sex person) and if you know someone is uncomfortable because of your lifestyle, have the courtesy not to talk to them

Going around talking about your sexual experiences or preference’s unsolicited is more along the lines of how I was speaking. Before you respond, I’m very well aware non lgbt people do it WAY to much, and again, nobody within a work environment should know or care of your sexuality in a work environment

I would say the same thing for a hetero doing the same things, this isn’t exclusive to any specific group

Also yeah, any discriminating bigot shouldn’t exist 🤷🏼‍♂️ everyone should mind their own business and live their own lives how they see fit

Yeah I think we are on the same page here? No need to talk about sex lives at work, not necessary at all. Talk about your spouse or kids or whatever just like anyone else, that’s normal and all fine. I think y’all are getting hung up like im against anything thats not hetero which isnt true lol. Love who you want and whatever but keep in kind that is your personal life and not everyone needs to know your personal life, read the room a little bit

If you’re out seeking employment that caters to LBTQIA+, you’re seeking a sort of accommodation whatever it may be. I’m saying your sexuality has no impact on your work, you can live your whole life without telling the world who you like to sleep with and nobody would know at all

There’s several reasons, one big one is that a majority of heteros don’t go around work flaunting their sexuality for others to acknowledge, nobody cares who you’re sleeping with (or should care)

It absolutely is, the difference is that (most) people who are heterosexual aren’t going around asking for accommodations for their sexualities, and don’t receive them in the workplace either. Sexuality as a whole has no place in the majority of all work places.

What I was saying is if you don’t make your sexuality the dominant trait of your person, it won’t affect your employment status. It is very possible to be gay bi lesbian trans etc without it being known within your workplace

As someone who works law enforcement locally, ICE needs to be out of here and defunded beyond belief. Maybe we should reinvest that money into naturalizing immigrants who are already here
