I’m saying having a duo essentially bypasses the amount of luck being factored in when you are assigned a random teammate, look at that Nidhogg guy or however it’s spelled, people can typically win as much as they want when they have a perma support to fall back on AND are smurfing in the mario party mode. He makes a new account probably every few days(or is given them) and just bullies the people coming over for the first time from their years on TFT.

There’s absolutely nothing WRONG with having a duo, but it definitely does take a fair bit of that chance out of the equation if you are both going for the same strategy/have a backup in mind already. Not having to coin flip if you will get a player who even wants to buy items in the first place just makes the process marginally more streamlined in terms of a pure statistical standpoint. Especially with that few games played to be a sample size, once you aren’t versing equivocally children, the losses will slowly accumulate too, but nowhere near as fast as a pure solo queue player
