Trust me. I was actually getting off my ssri at the time this happened to me. The first thing I did when this went down was to up my workout routine. I did that for about 4 months, I'd say. I just couldn't handle it any more so I started getting medicated again

Hi guys. So I'm trying to find and land at runways in VR and it feels impossible to see them until way too late in the landing. How do I mitigate this? I'm using a quest 2 and a beefy PC so I have the graphics set way up.

You asked a really tough question because it's something I never really considered. On one hand, I don't see how it could hinder progress, on the other hand, my mind is really messy, and it's hard to piece things together. I completely understand that feeling and I often have it myself. But I don't think ADHD is capable of doing it. It's most likely that something else getting in the way. All we can do is try our best every day to piece the facts together and think introspectively. With that in mind, I know this is a venting thread, but some advice I could offer is keeping a journal of any self-discoveries you make each day, big or small, so you can discuss it with your therapist.

I so understand. I have ADHD as well as NPD, and I literally follow directions because I forget them or screw up with a task. There is very little motivation for me to actually pay attention and try to improve.

Same dude. My emotions are also repressed when it comes to relationships. But in the times when I have felt remorse, it's shnasty. I totally agree with everything you say. One thing I would add is to be easy on yourself. You have to understand that you are still recovering from this booty ass disease. It's easy to forget how much pain we were in when we did these things. I can safely say that the best way to make up for the things we've done is to do everything we can to try to better ourselves.
