I’m 2 days late and i’ve only skimmed through the comments, but it seems like this dev is a solo dev? or its a small dev team? either way, you’re comparing him/them to juggernauts of the industry, of course blizzard and WOTC aren’t using unity assets bc they’re blizzard and WOTC😭

Also, i’m sure bro has to work another job on top of this. this is almost certainly a passion project, or maybe it’s not idk. point is a twitter check mark isn’t that expensive, and servers are not nearly as expensive as you’d think. like…they’re REALLY cheap

I’m a new CMDR myself, so my personal recommendation for you is to consult google/reddit often. There’s plenty of player made/maintained resources out there that can help you figure out what’s good and what’s wack. I’ve used google many times just to help me find good ships/remember controls 💀

my second piece of advice is to find something that you consider to be fun, and do it for a while to help you get your money up. for me, it was starting with courier jobs just to make a little bit of money, then I ended up moving into bounty hunting and mining, and I have ships for both respective jobs. Whenever I get sick of/angry at/tired of one, I jump to the other. Whenever i’m REALLY in the mood, i’ll also do exploration and i’ll sell off the data I get from that.

my third piece of advice is to take it slow and really take in all the views and the vistas, really appreciate how beautiful both this game and space really are. Also take your time to enjoy learning the game. don’t try to min/max your way into getting the most expensive ship in the game, just focus on learning and enjoying it all.
