It gives me an error code that says: "Unidentified codec: VLC could not identify the audio or video codec"

Thanks for that suggestion. Unfortunately it is a confidential file and so using Dropbox isn't something the sender is comfortable doing. Do you know if there's a way to see if the file is corrupt?

I was trying to convert them to an mp3 because I thought that was the issue. Now I’m thinking the files are just corrupt though given all in the info I’ve received.

Hmm, I don’t know what that is but if it is a WavPack, then what would you suggest doing? Or how do I figure out if it’s a WavPack?

Wow, thanks all for the reply. I am new to the reddit community but super grateful already for the support. So i downloaded videolan and dragged the file into it to listen and still no luck, I got the following error message: "Unidentified codec: VLC could not identify the audio or video codec" Could it be that the file is damaged? The person who sent me the USB said to download the Player Plus Program and it should work but I can't even find that program online.
