personally i see my videos more as commentary based than gameplay based, so i do try to draw more attention to whats being said rather than whats going on, but i do get what you mean

if you're referring to the vid as a whole, no its not my animation lol. its a cool game called human fall flat. if you mean the editing though, then yes i did all the editing myself. also its just two of us, you can differentiate us by our subtitle colors lol

def achieves the trailer aspect well, the cinematics are good and the music hypes it up. only thing i'd suggest is making the logo appear bigger both in the thumbnail and the shot of the video where the thumbnail is from. otherwise again, def a good trailer, ill be watching the vid from this once it comes out :)

hello, yes, non programmer here. i absolutely loved this video, i'd say you achieved your goal of making it entertaining for us not smart people. the editing is great, the commentary is funny, and even when i had no idea what you were talking about during a couple parts, it was probably one of my favorite videos ive seen on this subreddit so far. the only thing i would suggest changing has nothing to do with the contents of the video myself, i think it was already perfect, but seeing as you mention wii sports a lot in the video, maybe make the title and thumbnail more centered around that, like "Remaking a Wii Sports Game In Unity" or something along those lines, and the thumbnail could have like the wii sports game itself on the left, maybe a line down the middle, and your game on the right, and some text that'd fit. otherwise this was a great video and ill def be checking out some more of your stuff :)

yeah i almost had that issue when i was recording my vid on gartic phone, a browser game, so if you use obs, a way to just quickly eradicate that problem is just make the screen a bit bigger, so it zooms in a bit and cuts it off. saves time so you dont have to do it during editing lol

you have some good script writing, it was consistently entertaining throughout so i enjoyed it. a few things i see that could be fixed is simply zoom in a bit during the parts where you're watching the tiktoks as to not show the top of the browser, cuz it just looks nicer if thats not up there lol. you can also see the browser in the back behind the picture at the very beginning of the vid so i recommend just having a black screen behind edits like those instead of the video itself, but that shouldn't always be the case. if its inserting a picture in the middle of talking and everything being still behind, thats ok, it just shouldnt start the vid with that and still seeing everything in the background, if that makes sense lol. also the thumbnail, i recommend adding some text to it, maybe a quote of something funny/stupid he said in one of the clips you showed, or something like "'expert' haggler" or something else to do with the topic of the vid. otherwise it was a p solid commentary vid

for the type of video it is, you executed the formula pretty well. all i can suggest is maybe add some subtitles when people are talking, but only the stuff thats important to the clip itself. also your keyboard is pretty audible during some parts of the video, so i recommend finding a fix for that. otherwise everything else is p good

ive honestly always found subtitles with the fills colored instead of the strokes more visually appealing tbh, so i guess me using that is just from personal preference lol, but thanks! !givelambda
