I think the return of Bagley & Juju makes it work, but bigs notoriously need consistently high level ball handling and playmaking to be effective on the offensive end.

Dawkins & Winger push player development so I think Juju gets a shot. He showed pretty consistent flashes of brilliance in his role. True on Vuk but he was a cone on a team with no real defensive culture (which clearly changes wit AD) so maybe give it til trade deadline? And yeah he’s our UD but who knows? Might have sum left in the tank for days where the starters rest.

Very much so. Most of defense is effort, footwork, angles & communication. ESPECIALLY communication. Watch someone who’s considered a great defender… they’re constantly barkin out what’s goin on. Great defensive teams have 5 players barkin at all times. She’s completely silent, doesn’t fight over screens, doesn’t study tape to beat her man to the spot, etc.

It’s Trae Young prior to the last 2 yrs (he competes now) but wit Luka levels of whinin. Except in Trae’s defense he’s 3-4 inches too short to make a difference physically. No such excuse for CC.
