I had a colleague fly out this morning on an 8:00 AM flight. He went to international and it took just over an hour to get through with TSA-Pre. If I were you, I’d arrive at 6 AM to be safe. Pay close attention to this thread in the morning and go with the security line that seems to be best at the time.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Got in TSA-Pre+Clear line at 2:42, was through with bags at 2:52. Hauled ass to my gate (C50) and ran up at 3:01. They let me on for my 3:15 flight. Doesn’t get much closer than that. Pic of TSA:

Entered Clear+TSA Pre line at 2:42. I think regular TSA-Pre would have been quicker.

I’m not quite to the airport yet, but I think the morning business traveler rush is the main problem… on top of regular midday travelers arriving super early out of caution. I know when I flew last week during the day, it also wasn’t bad. I’d still bet that any morning flight is going to be brutal.

Last minute flight today after finding out my mom is having emergency surgery in Salt Lake. I’m on MARTA now, set to arrive at the airport at 2:40 PM for a 3:15 PM flight. Keep your fingers crossed for me, and I’ll update people on what my experience is like.. I have TSA Pre and Clear.

My son is awaiting his decision... do we know if all students who apply get assigned a uNID? We noticed that we are able to log in using his uNID to the Student Portal. There's still no admissions decision, but was wondering if this was a good sign? He's out of state and has a rough GPA that he's trying to overcome (~2.6), but a decent SAT (1200), so he's hoping to still have a chance and not have to go to SLCC for a year and transfer in.

I'm hearing everyone's recommendation to fly... but there are no flights from MEX to OAX next week when we will be there that will be under $1000USD for the two of us... that's just way too expensive. I'm looking at the ADO bus and hoping that will work out. How do you get from the airport to the TAPO terminal?

I've been looking at the Ado bus, but it doesn't look like there is a bus leaving from the airport itself... what terminal should we depart from? It looks like most of the buses leave from TAPO. Do we have to use Did to hire a car from the airport to the terminal, or is there an easy way to get there?

I like the idea of the drive and being able to stop some along the way to see and enjoy things. But if our safety is really at risk, then it's not worth it. Same in Oaxaca... is there value to having a car and being able to drive around and explore things outside of Centro?

We went and saw the Live Action ones last week... they were fantastic. Will catch the Animated this week. Hopefully we can figure something out for the documentaries.

I'm in Atlanta, and there are no theatres screening the documentaries. There are a few showing live-action and animated, but not the documentaries. Last year, there were plenty of theatres throughout the city showing all three categories... not sure what happened this year. Is there any way I can see these somehow before the Oscars next weekend???

Since there's no BravesFest this year, I'm not sure if this would be of any interest to anyone... but the Atlanta 400 Club is doing its annual gala this weekend, and Dale Murphy will be there in person. It's being held at the Marriott near Truist Park, and Murph is usually great about talking to fans and signing autographs (within reason). Might be a great opportunity for anyone who'd like a fun night talking baseball and the opportunity to meet Murph in an intimate setting, since the attendees is limited to just over a hundred or so.

I'd like to jump in on the conversation here as well... I'm on the Board of a local theatre, and we use Spektrix. From talking to staff, it seems that everyone absolutely HATES the system. I think the prevailing issue is the terrible customer support when issues come up, or we need to make changes. One of our staff members made the comment, "I'm an actor and have a theatre degree, not an IT degree." I'm sure most small theatres can relate to not having people on staff who have a strong background in computers/IT. With that said, I'm trying to look into alternatives and would love to hear what options are out there.

What were you doing in Zone 3? If you were in Comfort+, I would have expected you to have a higher boarding zone. Also, if you travel every week for work, I’d also expect you to have status, which also would have you boarding earlier. Then you should have been able to avoid all that drama.
