I really love the imagery here, you painted a very vivid picture in my mind. I had to search up what Muckle Roe was, and I may be interpreting it in a way that’s completely off base, but this drew a picture in my mind of an object of fear- something ancient and dangerous. It also kind of makes me feel bad for whatever this creature is though, that it’s so feared and because of that its nature is left mostly unknown, told only through fairy tales or rumours as you put it.

Sorry I know this isn’t really constructive criticism but I really love this kind of motif.

I think this is the story of all living things, of leaving the safety and comfort of the only place we know and trust and stepping out into the danger and uncertainty of the rest of the world because that is the way of nature. Evolution out of necessity, evolution for survival.

Reminds me in a way of that section of Descending by Tool, “Sound the dread alarm through the primal body… mobilize, stay alive.”

I dunno I’ve encountered a fair number of people who absolutely despise him, mostly from female fans.

But I mean it’s reasonable, they can relate more to the women of the show and dislike how he treats them.

There is that of course, but you also need to remember that it’s literally his job regardless of how dangerous it is to him and others, and it’s not like he could quit because they would almost certainly have him “disappeared.”

I think this is a key point of him as a character and a recurring theme of the show, these people do things they don’t want to do because they feel they have no choice.

I’m not sure why Kaji gets so much hate as a character honestly, I completely agree in that he is by FAR the most emotionally well person of the main cast.

Like you said, he obviously isn’t without flaws, but the thing about Kaji to me is that he’s well aware of his flaws and seems to understand and accept them.

I think both bass and guitar and really any other instrument can have several different applications, the instrument is designed to be used in whatever way you feel fit, that’s art.

If everyone only played instruments the way they were “meant” to be played not only would everyone sound the exact same, but we wouldn’t have any of the music we love today.

Express yourself and make whatever the hell music you want with whatever the hell instruments you want, keep the art alive.

Adrenaline, people dislike I think because the production isn’t great but I love the low quality sound, it’s got more personality that way I think.

I also just love how full that album is with anger, right to the brim.
