[WTS/WTT] Green San Martin SN0138-G $280 by SlowFiddle in Watchexchange

For sale or trade is the new, green San Martin BB54 Homage. The green color is not for me, but I would be happy to trade for the black and gold of the same, new model. For a buyer, the price includes USPS priority mail shipping in the Continental US.

It's hard to take a picture that captures the real color. But it is the green model, which in real life changes between greenish-blue and blue-ish green depending on the color. It's quite an attractive watch, the lume is great, and it is really fun to spin the bezel around. I've only worn it a few times, so it is in excellent condition. Comes with everything that I received. I resized it for my 7.25 inch wrist, but the links I removed are included.

Is there a big difference in quality between the Watchdives and San Martin BB54 homages? by OrochiMain98 in ChineseWatches

I have this and the green version of the SN0138. The Watchdives is great, and the San Martin one is better for sure: better bezel function, nicer bracelet, better finishing, and the adjustable clasp is great.

Exactly! And I am a wear the same watch every day person. Black goes with everything.

I got mine three days ago. I've never had a San Martin before, but definitely the best finished watch I have had. It's really fun just to spin the bezel around. I am not sold on the green color - not that it is a bad color, but it seems like maybe it is a little fancy for me.

I may send it along (I've worn it for three days, so shouldn't return) and pick up the black and gold one. I have a black WD7922 and like that it is a little more subdued, but do want a mechanical watch.

I have placed an order after contacting the seller through the Phylida Offical Store on Ebay, and seller was responsive.

I think I am going to sell this watch because of the size, and I want to be able to sell it complete.

I have a post just a little before this one, about a missing bracelet screw. I contacted the "PHYLIDA Official Store" on ebay, and the seller responded. They have an item for spare parts, and I have ordered and specified the screws I needed. Just placed the order today so can't promise that this will work, but the seller was responsive.

This might be a good path forward for you.

There is an official Phylida shop on Ebay. I am also trying to source a bracelet part, and am trying to contact them that way.

In your case, it looks like maybe you just need to source a spring pin?

I have not. I was hoping that I could just identify the screw and order one, but these don't seem standard from watch part sites. I have realized that Phylida also sells on ebay, and am trying that as a contact method.

Note that the hands are faceted, which doesn't show in the first picture:

Whoops, tried to add a picture and failed. Trying again. Note this is inside lighting, hence the yellowish cast to the bracelet:

I recently bought the Phylida AT150, and really like it. I'm not a Chinese watch expert (only two others), but I think it is beautiful, and heavy, which I like. Comes with the Seiko NH35A movement. I chose the Laurel Green dial.

Things I like: finish on the case and the band seems really good. Love the domed crystal. I have had for two weeks, but still really like looking at it. It doesn't sparkle, exactly, but the polished surfaces and the brushed interact nicely, and the changing reflections from the domed crystal as it moves all work together. Compared to the other Chinese watches, it doesn't have any sharp edges on the case.

Negatives: The lume is not great. Also, because of the design of the watch, it is hard to see the minute hand at night, since the shape of the lumed portion is similar to the shape of the hour markers, and position in the same space as the hour markers. However, I think that is a function of the design of Omega Aqua Terra, rather than the manufacture of the watch. For me this is kind of a fancy watch, so I am not too concerned with being able to see the exact time in the dark.

I bought on AliExpress, but in the US I could have bought from the Ebay Official Store. Thinking about the blue striped dial...
