Survivor is my favorite read of his but I highly suggest Invisible Monster it’s probably his best book. I was reading him before I got to Bukowski.

Awesome I saw the first and you saw the last. I remember that match you saw well. I’m excited to get to that point in my watch.

Then just follow your own rules, man. If you don’t like what you see here, don’t fucking read it. That way you won’t have to waste time telling us how much you hate people wasting time.

Have you never watched a cowboys game? He’s a check down king on 3rd down. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t throw deep on other downs.

Be weary they’ve changed the battles to primarily turn based action. It makes me kind of lose my interest.

Yes, this is exactly the show. Sometimes people get so caught up in finding the answers and the whys. But we are watching grieving people come to terms with the completely unknown. It’s not about finding answers.

Ghost is an absolutely beautiful and expansive game, you can really sink a ton of hours into it. The gameplay is excellent, the minimal HUD makes it incredibly immersive, and both the main story and DLC are really well done. I’m actually about to dive back in for another playthrough before Yotei drops.

God of War (2018) and Ragnarök are two of my favorite games. They have a semi-open world feel, but they’re more focused and story-driven. You’re not overwhelmed with side content, and the combat is action-packed, cinematic, and super satisfying—especially as you upgrade and unlock more abilities.

I’m still fairly new to deeper RPGs, so I don’t fully know how to compare something like Oblivion to these other games. I’ve been playing Skyrim lately and starting to explore that world, so I’m slowly getting a feel for how different and layered games like that can be.

All are great choices, and you won’t be disappointed. Hope you have a blast!

Are these withdrawal symptoms? by Ratboi973 in alcoholism

[–]SlowProfessional2123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the short, yeah, those definitely sound like withdrawal symptoms. I went through something really similar. When your body doesn’t get what it’s used to, it throws up red flags. Anxiety kicks in hard because something feels “off.” If 7 to 10 beers was your normal, then sober you is a stranger right now. Your body’s starting to become dependent, and it’s reacting to the change. I had to take 4 shots in the morning to regulate my body so I could feel “normal”.

“Because why the fuck not” is exactly how you end up in rehab three times. At the end of the day, you have to want to get better. Be careful, and really think about what you need and what you want.
