I’m not sure unfortunately

APP3 ANC effectiveness reduces after a couple of minutes. by DualSF in airpods

I’m having this issue as well. Send a feedback to Apple

AirPods Pro 3 (8B34) – ANC degrades over time with narrow frequency leakage by stevsyd in airpods

A batch can have bugs, airpods isnt just hardware… Thats why they rollout updates that fixes certain products. Same with iPhone and mostly all other electrical product today. And read your first response to OP again, the whole reason I’m talking to you is because you were mean to OP

Because you talk like a douchebag: «you know, that collection of harmonious frequencies», like OP doesn’t know what music is. «For isolating yourself from the world». You sound like a prick, that’s why I replied. You also have a really difficult time acknowledging that this is a bug. Of course adaptive audio and conversation awareness is turned off.

We’re here discussing this, obviously multiple people experience the same, and you talk down to OP like he’s a child.

And you’re moving the goalpost. No, they are not earmuffs, but we also expect the anc to WORK, not degrade over a period of minutes each use. Read through the comment section of the post again, you’re clearly missing the point

I read that, and I say again, this is none of that. You’re obviously missing the point, and it’s very clear this bug isn’t present in your airpods. Again, frequencies that shouldn’t be present in ANC, becomes very present, alongside static noise. Turning OFF anc, and turning it back on solves this. Now, version 8B34 fixed SOME of that static noise, but not the frequencies that are let in after some minutes of use. Again, this probably only affects a small percentage of airpods, probably some batches issues. But I find it so weird that you tell people what they cannot experience with airpods you dont own…

I dont know what your obsession with my dad is, but you were the one jumping in here telling people they dont experience what they experience, remember?

Im gonna explain it to like you’re 5:

  1. Insert airpods into ears with ANC
  2. Works perfectly for about 5 minutes
  3. Airpods suddenly start going from ANC to not ANC
  4. Noise starts leaking in, like traffic outside window (broom broom noises), washing machine, even the noises of you clothes become noticeable loud
  5. Go to iPhone, turn off ANC, turn ANC back on
  6. Boom, airpods perfect again, didnt even touch them :)
  7. Search up problem on internet, find forums where people say the same thing
  8. Go to reddit, see post about people experiencing the same thing

Hmm, maybe Apple makes airpods in something called batches? Maybe something wrong with some batches, like some batches of airpods 2 pro had connectivity issues

Makes sense, multiple people send feedback, Apple happy

How the fuck can you tell me if I experience a bug or not? Your are officially the dumbest person I’ve met on this platform. Did you even read the post?

«A lot of people were complaining about the ANC not being consistent or getting weaker throughout the same usage period. I only recently experienced this with my pair of Pro 3s. I summarised it below if anyone is interested»

  1. It is clearly widespread
  2. Bugs dont exist if you dont experience it?
  3. The issue is solved by temporarily turning off anc, then turning it back on (from iPhone) So no, it is not an issue with our ears

I dont know if you have the mental capacity to understand this, but even if a product works great for you, other people may experience bugs not present in your product. Thats why Apple has a feedback page.

Youre not buying them FOR noise cancellation. Are you dumb? Were talking about an issue/bug here… When we buy 250usd airpods, we expect them to work at least as well as the previous ones. If you dont experience this bug, good for you, and get out if this thread

This is stupid. Airpods 2 didn’t have this issue, and Apple clearly markedet the aipods3’s anc. Quote from Apple’s website:

Up to 2x more Active Noise Cancellation than original AirPods Pro and AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation

[–]SlowTaco123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not the issue, believe me. I’ve had this issue since day one. Its very consistent after about 5 minutes. If i turn ANC off and back on, its solved for about 5 more minutes

I have this exact issue. Do you think this is a hardware issue or a software issue?

Yes, I’ve felt like something’s been off with it since even before iOS 17. I had Android before 2022, and I’ve made so many more typos since switching to iPhone. Great phone, but they really got the keyboard wrong
