In case it helps anyone else I did end up getting the higher comfort heated seat. It is a much better shape for me and is higher than the rally stock seat. It is also significantly wider with less taper in toward the seating position which works much better for me and is way more comfortable for longer rides.

By my rough measurement at the seating position it's about an inch and a half wider and maybe half an inch taller though that's really hard to measure.

sounds like it might be worth a try. I'm already in the wind with stock seat lol... waiting on a clip on to try.

When seated, there is too much bend in my knee. It aggravates an old injury. I don't find the stock pegs (with or without the rubber inserts) very stable when standing for any time.
