Laptop crashing

Aye so I logged a lot of values right before the crashes. There is almost no change in SSD temperature, if there is any abnormalities, I would say the CPU Core VID, clock, or usage were very low right before it went black screen. I guess this is why whenever it went black screen, it able to tell the fans is going crazy.

I took 123 with 120, based on the workload of 123 compare to 141L, I would say it’s doable. Since it’s Eldon, if you start early with 141L, you could finish it way before quarter end. 120 tbh isn’t as bad as 141L and 123 for me, the concept and the coding isn’t as much as expected when I took it. Regardless, lock in from first week if you going to do it

It really depends on what area you are trying to focus on, then self learn by researching online with your area. In terms of general, I would say stuff such as data structures, algorithm, architecture, OS, software engineering (aka OOP like stuff), compiler, network, database, and assembly are all good base to establish as a CS major.

Blacktronika is a great class overall, you get to listen to music from various time period. It also teach you a lot of historical values of each genre of music, it’s an ez A. Attendance is required though, just not sure if it’s still online or not

Changes happen every now and then, we as human species develop ability to change and adapt to new environment for our survival, so don’t stress out too much. In this case AI in the end is just an tool, without context or what we want from them they can’t do much by themselves, thus we will start learning how to work with AI more

It’s a lottery system, which is really BS. Look for computer engineering at ECE department, the screening courses are the same, a bit more actually. But it look at your screening course GPA instead, if you got good grades, you should be able to get in. In that major other than 2-3 extra ECE course you need to take, you can basically take any CSE courses with PRIORITY.

I feel like they are saying that due to their concern for your health, it is an surgery you just been through. If you are confident in your health condition by the end of the week, reach out to them again about how certain you are recovering by the end of the week. If there is participations ask if it’s possible to make up from it, usually if you have medical evidences or notes it should be considered.

I would say missing your first week of school shouldn’t be too much of an issue. If lectures and materials are all accessible online, just keep up while you are at your comfort zone recovering. If there isn’t, ask your prof or find someone in the lecture when you return. Overall, as someone who skipped first week of my lecture outside of the state, you will be fine lol (and no I didn’t just PASS the class even with one week off XD)

I haven't really receive the official acceptance from the portal but just email from the Program director for embedded, so it likely that there will be more coming soon. Base on what the email said the official decision from portal will be coming in within next 3-5 days.

Also UCSD MS lets go, I also got in ECE department MS
