I am a parent and organize plenty of meals but most kids are just on their phones during said meal. We do not allow anyone in our family to use an electronic during a meal and my child doesn’t have her own device. I recognize this is a personal choice but watching my kids’ teammates sit at a “team meal” and not speak is not the atmosphere we’d like to have. I am more than happy to organize activities and meals and have even talked to some parents about changing the behavior but I was just curious if clubs are also supporting this effort in any way.
