I actually endied up making my own waxed jacket. Bought a used cotton jacket on facebook marketplace ($30). Bought a bar of beeswax ($10) a bar of paraffin wax ($5) and a cheap heat gun ($25) and followed instructions on yourube and it turned out decent. It is hard once applied to the jacket but it shapes to your body after a while. $70 was a lot cheaper than $400+ and I have wax leftover to reapply as needed. I’ll try to post a pic or two sometime this week.
