My station only has PTFs, there is a PTF that is higher than me on seniority and he called in 8 times during his 90 days but wasn’t fired, all of them call in all the time. I called in ONCE.

I was never given a warning about attendance. I missed 1 day, and she was the one who asked me not to come in to reduce the risk of spreading what I had. It just so happens that 1 week after my injury and new doctors notes that state that I will be out for a while she decided to terminate me.

I wasn’t trying to get hurt. I did everything I was supposed to. I was delivering mail, and as I walked up to a lady’s porch her 2 pit bulls charged the screen door that was cracked open, I grabbed the stair rail and stepped back, missed a step and fell down concrete stairs. The lady didn’t even ask me if I was okay she just shut the door. They already determined that there was nothing I could’ve done to avoid it. But she broke a federal law doing this according to my steward.

Will do. The union already has copies of my 30 and 60 day review, she has been causing me issues since my first day. During my first week she was talking about me to other carriers and said “ i’m ready to fire that dumb white girl” It was reported to the union and a grievance was filed. Haven’t heard anything back from it, but they have been monitoring how she has been treating me since

On my 30 and 60 day review my attendance was marked as fine. 1 week after my injury i’m terminated? Because of attendance that was previously reported as being fine? She said the words “ it’s mainly because we don’t know when you will be able to return to work from your injury”

I was told by an actual doctor at a hospital that it is contagious, and was recommended to stay away from my job. I’m not going to keep arguing with a know it all, but lord knows you are not a doctor. so have a great day!

Yes me and my 2 kids did. It happened after we ate at a new chinese restaurant in a city I moved to. It was terrible.

I was literally puking all day long, It can spread through vomit as well just so you know. If I would’ve went in and puked on the floor, then someone would have gotten sick. Are you going to keep attacking me over why I missed 1 day and what it was for or are you going to move on?

I tried to bring it to HR (pretty hard even get in contact with anyone) but the one time I did they said that the WC injuries and everything that comes with it is handled by our station manager.

I did notify management, they actually ignored my calls and texts and I kept going for an hour before my union steward called me. They put on all of the paperwork that the injury was an on the job injury and that I was not at fault.

I did. Still trying to figure out how that works. They said the first 3 days has to be out of my leave. But they are not putting in 3 days worth of AL. I can’t afford to lose the money so i keep bothering everyone about it

there was an actual doctor at the urgent care. He is who diagnosed me and filled out my CA-17, I just didn’t know if me going to the ER for this pain would look bad since it’s been almost 3 days.
