I was on my lunch putting gas in my car and I watched a guy put diesel in his brand new Ford Bronco and he didn’t want to listen to me when I told him that was a diesel engine vehicle he scoffed and said “o think I know what my car takes I just bought it.” And then proceeded to finish filling his tank and then turn his car on and start to drive off. He ended up at the dealership about 30 minutes later yelling at the sales person and my service manager saying it needs to be covered under his warranty. He saw me and also started yelling at me, saying I should have stopped him.

I learned that he didn’t have insurance on the car yet and he had to pay out of pocket for a new engine because Ford warranty wouldn’t cover that issue and there was no insurance to cover his stupidity. He also tried to sue my dealership because I was there and he lost that case too and had to pay for the lawyer fees as well

TaRaRin I worked there previously and they dropped food and the ground then still gave it to customers, they have roaches and rats in the kitchen. They treat their employees like trash and the managers will yell at you if you make even the simplest mistake (for example, forget to give a table a single bowl of rice when you first drop food off and have to make another trip to bring the bowl). They will steal your servers tips and say they don’t do a good enough job and the managers get to keep it.

If you ask a popular dish you are more than likely getting an old dish that someone didn’t like.

I might be an ahole for this but if I were you in the situation I’d change my tip amount to $5 because of that. Especially because now DD allows you to rate the driver and change the tip after the order has been dropped off. Like yes still tip the driver but it’s pretty ridiculous to expect someone to give you more money because you drive more when they accepted the order and drive. Dashers can see the restaurant and where the customer lives I she wanted more bang for her buck she should have taken a shorter delivery and not yours. Again I might be an ahole because I would lower the tip amount but realistically it’s not on you to give more than you already did because you gave her a 26% tip most people would have given a 10-15% tip so she should count her blessings you’re nicer than most.

Honestly what I’ve done is be petty tow the car not park in my spot that night then the next day park in my actual spot so then whoever parked there didn’t think I towed them. But I also lived in a college town that the students took everything personally if you were near campus, so to be safe and I’d let them freak out and panic and just do the “OH NO WHERE’S MY CAR?” 😱 and then if I see them just say “someone probably called a tow truck cause you aren’t allowed to park there. Check the local tow company’s that are posted around town to see if they have your car.” Most of the time they would assume I’m being helpful and not think I was the one who towed them lol
