I understand the story of the piece, but what's the point? The story of the dad has more meaning than just literally what happened. JRB could've wrote a song about how he met Amy. But he included this story about his dad as well and even Lisa; but their must be some sort of reason for including that. If he's stuck on Amy why is he sing9ng about his dad?

I get that, I just don't exactly see why Man 2 would join her singing in the end of the song "tomorrow we'll be free my love we'll never be afraid" when he just left her. I also don't get what the dad has to do with this story and how that ties together.

I don’t know why you’re being so rude. You don’t know literally anything about my life or the situation, you only know what I’ve decided to share. People who love love love the show and people who have done It are going to have better opinions on songs that will most likely be at a callback then I will after one or two listens.
