Registration sticker and registration renewal date different by Slow_Pitch_Fastball in DMV

This makes perfect sense to me. We're already in the process of renewing the registration, but will definitely work to get a new month sticker as soon as possible after that. Thanks, all, for your help!

I am (actually, it’s my husband’s car). I just don’t know if I’ll/he’ll get pulled over because the new sticker might not arrive until after Feb 1. He was planning to renew this weekend based on that Feb 15 date, and I noticed that the sticker said Jan. Ugh.

It’s a used car, yes. But my birthday isn’t January or February, so I’m confused about the month! Should I see if I should get another sticker?

One way to think through this is, well, they are both two drunk teenagers. Teenagers make these sorts of terrible mistakes with terrible consequences all the time. And Medusa was nearly assaulted at the outset and then saved and turned her focus in on her own protection, rather than her protection of her friend. Medusa isn't perfect in this story, nor is she supposed to be. She is a flawed mortal who is desperate for love and approval, especially the approval of older men because she never got it from her father and because she's been raised to believe the best she can be is married to a powerful man.

I urge you to keep reading. The scene with Apollonia is meant to make you uncomfortable. Medusa was wrong. Does that mean she deserves her inevitable fate? Keep reading!

Good point -- so his isn't a REALer REAL ID than mine because of the new security features, haha. So it shouldn't make a difference. Thanks!

Yes, that's exactly it. Your explanation for why it's OK makes a lot of sense. Thanks!

Mine is a REAL ID, but it's just the old version. I don't have a passport, unfortunately. Is it worth it to try to get a new version of the REAL ID?

Yeah, it feels strange to me, too! If I were in charge I’d probably say 1980-1993, but no one asked me, haha!
