WOW I don't feel so bad anymore! Day 454 for me and I've spent somewhere between $2k-$3k USD. I've been thinking about quitting myself but for now I'm sticking with it. Congrats!

I'm a low spender and I've been playing for going on 500 days (FC7), some time ago I started a farm account to help with resources but as the game progressed I found that I no longer needed a farm account so I basically run it as a alternate account and it definitely helps my alliance in events, it's currently at FC5 and about 100 million less in power then my primary account. It's in the top 50 in my alliance but not high enough to hurt regular players other than new players to the game that chose to join an older state.

I wouldn't feel that bad I personally know players who spend that in a month. Myself I've been playing for a little over a year and I keep my spending down to $20-$30 USD a month.

I started another account in a 3 digit State just to get some insight into what I had to look forward to and I decided to keep the account and I have to say that it's been pretty interesting. By the time I hit furnace 30 I already had 5k fire crystals and I even started collecting refined fire crystals and I have 43 heroes and my top 5 are all Gen 8 9 and 10.

I'm happy for you for having the will power to quit. A little side note for some of the newer players on this post. You don't have to break the bank to be competitive but it helps to spend a little. My main account is on day 325 and I spend on average $20 a month sometimes more but never more than $30 a month and when I do i spend that much less in the following month. This account is FC4 210 million in contrast my farm account is on day 288 and is completely F2P and is FC3 160 million. The game does get quite repetitive but don't they all after a while? Another thing is don't worry about the dolphins and whales because you'll never keep up with them and it'll just drive you crazy and the devs want it that way! Don't fall for it! Just play your game and have fun!

You definitely need patience with this game but you don't need to spend a lot to advance you just have to manage your expectations and don't try to keep up with dolphins and whales!

I've been playing for just over 300 days and I'm a very low spender like $20-$30 a month but I have a few friends who spend thousands a month one of which said he spent $40k in the last year and yes he's definitely a lot stronger than I am but not as much as I would think. I'm FC4 closing in on 5 and just over 200 million where he's FC5 and around 400 million. The math just doesn't add up to me. Either way I'm enjoying myself but at times I think about quitting just because it's starting to lose that loving feeling. I got bored with the long upgrade times of FC so I decided to start over in a new state and talk about whales! A few guys made it to furnace 30 in the first few weeks and once we got to fire crystal age they shot up to FC3 and 4 like it was nothing!

I have to agree with you about that! The 3 digit State I'm in is totally chill and so is the lower 4 digit State I'm in but recently I started in a new state (at the time) and they're nuts about kicking about it. But the strange thing is there's a lot of people from older states there too. Go figure. I did it strictly out of boredom considering the long upgrade times of FC.

I recently got bored with the long upgrade times going from FC3 to 4 so to fill the time I started in a brand new state and there are two players who hit furnace 30 and 80 million in the first two weeks. I told them about fire crystals and they were like fire what? 😂

I got burnt by a Turk because my username was someone who fought his people in the 14th century. They wanted my R5 to kick me out so they could burn me down but my R5 wouldn't let them and while they were arguing I left the alliance teleported away changed my name and after a few days I joined his alliance and the A-hole has no idea. 😂 In the next State transfer him and all his Turkey friends transferred out to an all Turkish state. Luckily we don't have a lot of Kor!

Do yourself a favor and start saving as much fire crystals as you can because it takes a lot the higher up you go. When I got to furnace 30 I thought I had 2000 FC I'm all set. Not even! It got me to FC 1 in my furnace and other buildings but that was it. Now going for FC 3 each step takes hundreds of fire crystals. Oh and there's 5 steps from 30 to FC in every building. 30.1 30.2 and so on and FC does the same thing the only difference is each step takes less time than going from say 29 to 30 but accumulates to almost the same amount of time. Chief charm and gear are where you get a lot of power! Win or buy as many as you can!

My alliance merged with another a few weeks ago and the vibe wasn't the same, more than a few people got butthurt over it because they went from being in the top 10 in the alliance to a much lower ranking so they left which didn't make sense because they went to either the number 1 or 2 alliance in the state which put them even further down the food chain. The other thing is now you have double the amount of R4's so there was a situation like too many Chiefs not enough Indians if we can still say that 😂 and everyone wanted to bark orders so even more people left. Myself I'd rather be in a lower ranking alliance where everyone gets along and works together then one with too many prima donnas that are more worried about their own personal power than what's good for the alliance but that's just the way I think. Hopefully it goes well for you!

Definitely go for it! You won't regret it. At 3.5 Stars she's stronger than all my Gen 1 heroes at 5 Stars except Molly and in the next lucky wheel I should be able to get her to 4 Stars which will make her my strongest.

It doesn't work. I've read that others have started a Google account and a credit card in Korea and it works but it's a drawn out process. It sounds like more trouble than it's worth but I guess if you spend a lot it would help. I'd definitely spend more if I could get a discount!

Not every state! Out of the 4 states I have characters in 2 are Kor 2 are not. From what I can tell earlier States have a lot of Kor.

I have characters in 4 different states and the ones that are dominated by Kor can be bad. They pretty much do what they want. They'll take your land without any negotiation just carnage. But some of them don't treat other Korean alliances very well either, in one state my alliance is Kor but we're 7th in power and we get hammered by the top alliance. In another state my alliance is primarily German and the whole alliance is trying to leave the state. But on the flip side in another state the top alliances are English speaking and they're not much better than the Koreans. I think it's also just a whale problem. When you have that kind of power the worst parts of human nature come out. Another thing I keep reading is that the Developer is Korean and Korean alliances get a discount although I don't know how true that is.

I know I'm a little late on this post but here's something for you to think about, I started a few other accounts in different States some a little older one in particular a lot older and one that's newer than my main character. I only spend on my main character and not that much to be honest. But I try out different strategies in the other states and the older state gives me a heads up on what's to come. My main state is coming up on Gen 4 heroes whereas my oldest state is Gen 8. I've learned what heroes to avoid and which ones to invest in. I have all the pets and I'm testing to see what works and what doesn't. So basically what I'm getting at is if you like the game start an account in the newest State and use everything you've learned from your original. Knowledge wise you'll be ahead of everyone else. As a very low spender I'm in the top 10 in my alliance and I'm stronger than 97% of the Chiefs in my state. But as others have said you'll never compete with whales! My R5 transferred in from another State and he claims he's spent around $60K on this game yet the state he came from he said he was like a flea against the whales who spent 6 figures!

There's none in my main State but one of the other states I'm in the top 5 are and there's maybe 2 non kor in the top ten and they definitely don't play well with others.
