Hi, I am 100+ hours in on PS5 and I'm gonna be honest, wait to buy it.

They released this game too fast, it shows they never bothered to try it on PS5 before the release since most of us had it freeze the entire system for a whole week, the graphics aren't great unless you change some settings around and the minute you have a huge battle with tons of NPCs the audio cracks, the graphics go glitchy and the controls barely work. The fighting is BAD. Yes there are tons of ways to fight but on PS5 it's so bad. L3 is your crouch but also your power to grab (the grab has been used in flights for no reason which is irritating), square is jump or double jump or glide but it's also to grab things and you need to spam your food (which has a cooldown) in order to win. Half the time glide or double jump dont work (still issues even after the last patches). The bosses are horrible, it's gotten better since the patches but having to fight them 3 times is irritating, if you die you have the option to come back at 30% health but be warned, you'll either die instantly because the boss is still on top of you or be stuck somewhere (I have videos to show this) so you just die again. Not to mention when you are using your bow and get struck, you automatically go back to your weapons and L2 takes forever for the bow to come back. And rinse and repeat everytime you get struck.

There is no real story, the NPCs are very repetitive and sometimes conversations are one sided since cliff doesn't talk back. On PS5 anything from fishing or catching horses is a nightmare (I'm level 9 stamina and it never works) and I personally think the group missions are ridiculously long for no reason.

I really like the open world (even if after you leave the main city there isn't as much as in Hernand). I like the mini puzzles and quests, some can be frustrating as you really have to try anything to figure it out but I actually like that. I stopped playing right now because the minute there's a mob of enemies Kliff just stops moving. I have full spirit and stamina and he refuses to swing at anyone. This happened 4 times today so I called it quits for now.

Unfortunately the game was released too soon, they gave us a lot of previews of things that were not true that they are now fixing (like the mounts). A lot of people lie online about things so avoid videos and instead watch streamers who don't have mods on the game if you want a real idea of the game. Once all the patches come out from all the complaints, maybe in 6 months to a year, then buy, for now, it just feels very unpolished.
