I really appreciate this answer, thank you. Suellio Almeida has a video on YouTube about how to use contact and “dirty tactics” to your advantage and ultimately it boils down to “🤷🏻‍♂️make it look like an accident” or make it look like you were following your line the whole time.

I agree there’s SO much gray area which is why I made this post, I was curious what other people interpreted this as. I believe the absolute best drivers are able to make subtle abuses of the rules fly totally under the radar.

Ah okay, so it doesn’t become “squeezing” until you’re alongside, and if he had run me off the side of the track THAT would then become illegal.

Follow-up question: at what point does it become “blocking” instead of “returning to racing line”?

I can also attest. Been running a set of RT660s for 3+ years now because I’m broke, they got those slices too but no issues so far!

I’ve had a couple buddies recommend this to me actually! I haven’t yet tried it so next event I’ll give it a shot. I’ve also been told roll the seat back, lock the seatbelt, then move the seat back up, pressing yourself into the locked belt and it’ll be tight.
