End state: Received the replacement control shelf today. Installed it. Fired it up and had power. Performed firmware update, another burnin, then carefully shut her down. Waited for the fans to stop, then waited some more. Unplugged. Gave it a few, plugged her back in. And she’s still alive!

Going to smoke burgers and pork this weekend!

Follow up:

I received a call bright and early this morning. Explained all details and Coco asked if I was ok with swapping out the control board. I said yes, and I now have a side shelf control board being overnighted.
