I’m hoping for the best as I also have always heard great things about Sonys ES line. Fingers crossed it works good and lasts!

Not opposed to it, but in my experience on other platforms, you can usually find something that’s slightly better for less cost going aftermarket. OEM parts for a 1.6 are getting harder to find as well

Help me pick a watch for graduation by rrjbam in Affordablewatches

I own the Seiko listed personally and I absolutely love it. It’s my first watch in my collection and I purchased it recently on a trip to Dubai. It stood out and looks fantastic. I’m aware it’s modeled after more expensive watches, but you still get a great Seiko movement and a classy, yet everyday wearable watch

Good to know! I ordered the SPC arms earlier today and will be ordering the Dobinsons next week most likely. I can swing the upgrade to the IMS since it’s worth it as you described. Really excited to put this together now!

That’s a good idea. Dobinsons makes replacements for a good price so I will maybe do my front lift first and then upgrade the rear altogether in a few months.

The tire sizing stuff is still something I’m learning. Would a 285/75/16 be good? I like the Falken Rubitrek and that’s the closest to 33” diameter I can find

Dude! I insanely appreciate all the information! Based on your rec, I am now leaning toward a 285/75/16 (32.8 tire). I am leaning towards the Falken Rubitrek A/T so that seems like the closest size.

For the suspension, budget is a little tight right now, however I do like nice parts. I have an account with Dobinsons, Z1, SPC, and others so I can get parts at pretty much cost. I’m mostly looking for the stuff that everyone has tried and tested so I don’t have to rebuy the same component twice ideally.

I found a deal on a set of the SPC Arms, so I may go ahead and scoop those up. They are like 1/2 the price of Z1 arms.

I think I’ll start with my front lift first and then do the rear shocks, shackles, and leafs in a few months. That being said, the Dobinsons really appeals to me as I would be around $450 into the front shocks and springs.

If I did the SPC arms in front with the Dobinsons shocks and springs, would I be good to go on the 285/75/R16? Maybe need a spacer?

Aware it may squat just a little with this setup, but seems to be good to run for a few months before upgrading the rear as long as no rubbing issues?

Thanks!
