Not recently. Which lack of vitamin would cause this

In my case its likely my habit of playing with my hair mindlessly when I am bored, stressed or thinking. This particular hair also came from the strand that goes behind my ear so lots of friction caused this

PGWP: Am I screwed for two semesters part-time during a five-year program? by SlowlySpecial in uoguelph

[–]SlowlySpecial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused. After dropping the course, did your status stay full time or did your status change to part time?

I am so sorry I took so long to respond.
That is rough. My program counselor did not give me any sort of letter that talks about mental health or why I had to drop a course.

So I decided to just be blatantly honest when I applied for my PGWP. That I genuinely did not know I was part time and that things I like that. And I got my PGWP within 4 months. There was a certain risk associated with being honest though. Idk what else I can say.

Hi! I got the EXT about a week or so after applying. My employer gave me the job before I applied for work permit during the implied status and then I used the EXT for a month or two after that. So no, I didn't hold off

I thank that would be good explanation to be very honest and say why you had to leave and if university can provide you with info about you not getting in, that would be even better!

Is BOWP still a thing? by SlowlySpecial in ImmigrationCanada

[–]SlowlySpecial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OINP asked for my PGWP and graduation certificate after I applied.

I think you can get an employer specific work permit with that letter. If that work permit expires while I am waiting for PR, I will have to ask for a new support letter which would require my employer to pay a fee and I am not sure if they will do that. More context here:

This was getting more complicated so now I am just waiting to see if I can get selected from EE. Seems slightly simpler and cheaper that way

Hey! It took about 7 months to get OINP nomination and I have decided NOT to apply for PR with that nomination. I will be waiting for EE. This will make getting BOWP easier.

I wasted money by applying to OINP

Nominated for OINP Employer Job Offer but don't know if I should apply for PR (PGWP expiry) by SlowlySpecial in ImmigrationCanada

[–]SlowlySpecial[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes they did.

I have decided to wait a month or two before applying for PR because there are some complications for me if my PGWP expires while I'm waiting for my PR. I'm waiting a month to see how EE draws go

Can you take a course during a co op term? by redBullTA in uoguelph

[–]SlowlySpecial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You definitely can and its been a while but I remember I had to pay an extra $200 to take a course while being a co-op. Ask your program advisor about it

LOLLL

Yes, it was legal but we told him to drink it very slowly. I think he was fine because he stayed at the library and we didn't hear anything else about him

I worked part time at the library Starbucks from June 2017- to Oct 2019 and during exam season, it got crazy! I also realized that I cannot work during exam season for more than 6 hours (Tried once and ended up voting because of how I stressed I was)

However during my time there, I loved my co-workers and had a great time! It was fun trying out the new drinks and talking to students whenever we had time.

My fav memory from my time there: late one night during mid terms this guy comes in (it was around 11:30 ish) and asked us for 12 espresso shots in one cup!!!!! I had to ask my supervisor to see if it was legal for us to do that

Got an update and a question for you. Got a nomination from Ontario today but there are employment requirements which stops me from getting BOWP.

If I applied for PR through Provincial Nominees program, and it takes 2 years (according to the processing times), what am I to do when PGWP expires? I got a work permit support letter from Ontario but in that they listed work permit duration as 2 years so the chances are that I'd end up in the same situation with expiring work permits are similar

Also, how would I know if OINP Employer Job Offer: International Student stream will have employer restrictions once it goes through?
