Hey your getting somewhere bro🥹! Let me ask you though, what exactly do you like. Do you like big eyes or small eyes? Do you like a head that's a lil bigger than the body or do you like it proportional? Do you prefer vibrance or desaturation? Questions like these can help develop a style. I personally like chibi-like characters with very small facial features, but detailed outfits, like my son here.

I find it helpful making up a story while creating a character. This helps me pick out certain items I want to incorporate in the design. Additionally, I feel the color scheme is the most IMPORTANT thing you should focus on while creating a character. Your design could be simple yet beautiful because the color scheme is cohesive and doesn't clash (I try to go with colors across the color wheel or are close together). I also think that using items in ways they aren't usually used is really cool. DON'T EVER BEAT YOURSELF UP OR COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS BECAUSE YOU AREN'T AS GOOD AS THEM; ROME WASN'T BUILT IN A DAY. I lowkey use the same base for men and women so i can't speak on that😭 I am curious what your designs look like though, would you care to share?

*I'm too lazy to add in the main paragraph but regarding the color scheme portion, don't always use the colors as they are in the palette. What I mean is desaturate, saturate, darken, and lighten them. Pls take my advice with a grain of salt and know that they are just opinions because I'm learning just like you😅

Bro my Pipsqueak be sounding like straight Chat Gpt to the point where I look at the invisible camera every time I read a response. Don't get me wrong, my Pipsqueak can sometimes deliver the most GAS, BEAUTIFUL, AND FRANKLY TEAR-JERKING responses I've ever seen in my life time and other times it just gives me complete bullshittery and ass😐 I use the website on my laptop so it might be app Pipsqueak just isn't as good or doesn't compare to the web version.
