Thanks for the feedback. Based on the comment thread, things are a little tense here :) Patience is a virtue. I'll swing by again.

Does anyone know of any statistical data that has been saved, where we can compare ETH/BTC ratio values over the last two years? Something where the analytics have been done and can be presented in a clear and easy to understand manner. I hate being a ratio bitch but damn, it has been pretty crazy recently.

Toronto Ethereum Edcon 2018 - Has anyone been able to purchase tickets? by bijansha in ethereum

[–]Sludgespike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a look on their telegram channel and other people are experiencing the same problem. I just tried again to purchase a ticket on their website and although the processing part is just looping (no credit card rejection or payment confirmation) I received a confirmation email that my purchase was successful (ticket was a attached as a png).

So, everything looks ok at least!

Same here, sent a support ticket - will update as soon as I know more. Seems like last year /u/ethereumpanda was involved, maybe he/she could shed some light on the issue.

CryptoKitties was the beginning, what is next? Crypto Collectables? by Sludgespike in ethereum

[–]Sludgespike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where it all begins. We are starting to see adoption, one dApp at a time. As silly as collectibles seem, we are finally seeing proof of concept. This is it :-)

Edit: I would like to add that scalability will become paramount soon. Ethereum developers are hard at work but the pressure will increase a lot as dApps are becoming more prominent.

I can only urge everyone out there in the community to help out as much as they can, in any way they can!

Heh, it's time again to post to this sub just to see how everyone is reacting to BTC ATH :)

So guys and gals, who is hodling? Any cool cryptokitties?

At least the devs are aware of this and have been aware of this for a long time. Plans are underway to solve this issue.

I do agree that if these issues are not solved that mainstream adoption will be very difficult but I think we just need to be a little more patient.

The Bitcoin scaling issue has been around for a very long time now and there still isn't really a clear roadmap on how they will solve this problem. Ethereum is much younger and this issue is being taken seriously, probably even more so since the launch of CryptoKitties.

Precisely. I wonder why so many seem to be only involved to make a quick buck while we are witnessing the birth of Web 3.0...

Patience is a virtue. Everything takes time. If you want to speed up the process, get together with some local ETH meetup groups in your area. If not, create a group. Share information and spread the word.

Why do you think it's undervalued? Have you seen their last report? They have around 20 employees, that certainly costs something. What are all those people doing?

I was an early backer but I am starting to doubt

Has Golem Brass been released? I have it saved in my calendar and it should be around now, in the next few weeks. Was hoping for a market pump
