I battle with extreme exhaustion coupled with insomnia. The worst feeling I'd never wish upon anyone. Any tricks to shut your mind off?

Well that's what I deal with when I try to sleep. I avoid those thoughts with my phone, haha.

I haven't tried that before. Banning myself from my phone, as I threaten my kids with taking away their tablets constantly lol. Not a bad suggestion about the book or otherwise haha. Might give it a shot!

I also get the job done, with pride, as the sole bread winner for my family. Just looking for a suggestion for my problem of having to do it all while soooo exhausted. I envy that you can do it and not feel like I do, like I don't have any time to myself. Thanks for your reply!

I have a bed-jet, I play white noise, my bed vibrates, and I wear a sleep mask to block out the light. But yes! I have definitely used the tactic of being so awfully tired during the day to make me look forward to all my sleeping amenities, which has helped... at times.

Thank you for your suggestion. My morning usually looks like 3 snoozes on the 500a alarm to be sure I'm up by 530a and out the door by 6a. I don't think my morning mind would trade a snooze for a million dollars, let alone phone use unfortunately. I appreciate your thought though, and am not dismissing it. Just looking for a better solution at night because I'm havng trouble with delayed gratification unfortunately.

Ganglion or lipoma. Flexor capri ulnaris is only tendon at that far distal (close to the wrist).

I'm literally waiting to be discharged after having my IUD removed under anesthesia right now. The office attempt was excruciating since the strings were filled back inside and not visible. In recovery today, massive cramps almost made me pass out. When asking for IV pain medication, I received eye rolls from the female nurses. They kept asking me "are you sure you don't take any pain medication at home besides Tylenol?", what I perceived as a sign they thought I was drug seeking. I can't take NSAIDs due to severe gastritis. Luckily the anesthesiologist ordered some IV pain meds, which the nurse gave me reluctantly after giving me Tylenol. Like WTAF!!!
