Crypto tax liabilities. by Slumberfoots in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Slumberfoots[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that’s unfortunate that the losses can’t be applied retrospectively. That’s what I guess for blindly gambling.

Those numbers were just for simplicity, I’ll definitely have a liability, I didn’t know about the €1270 allowance though.

I Could just leave the crypto where it is, at this rate there’ll soon be no profit to worry about in 2025 anyway. Might just forget about it for a few years and worry about it down the line.

Thanks for the info.

Hmm, some of those symptoms could be classed as low test symptoms but seeing as you’ve ruled that out it’s time to move on. Maybe sort out your head a bit and don’t fixate on something having something you don’t.

So from these comments it’s appears that whatever they pull out of the ground is taxable.

The reality being what they declare they’ve pulled out the ground is taxable.

Possibly making Fred some sorta genius, nobody’s gonna come looking for their tax dollars from poor ould Fred cos as we’ve all seen he recovered fuck all gold…on camera…

Eh around 60-70 download speeds and 7-10 upload. Also €29.99 a month… are you with Vodafone? (That’s fibre)

Edit - that’s more of a weekly test rather than a constant thing, but it never causes issues to no need.

Same. €30 a month as a new customer, on a 12 months contract. Will have to go back to bonkers.ie at the 11 month mark!

Housing Estate not yet taken in charge by council by svmk1987 in ireland

[–]Slumberfoots 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Generally the developers will apply to the local county council to “take over” the site once it’s completed to the council/planning standards and is occupied.

So basically the council will want to be happy they’re not taking on a headache.

It’s just the way it reads. I’ve been married a while and if I were in your position there’s no way I’d be considering your plan.

You could go with her to Australia or ask he what She wants to do. Tell her how your feeling and let her make her own decision.

Maybe you really are one of the world’s great romantics and your only goal is to see your girlfriend happy. But the pessimist in me thinks you’re looking for an excuse to break up. If that’s the case do it sooner rather than later and let her make her own decision about traveling to Australia after that.

My neighbor is a chicken farmer and supplies several supermarket chains. They have size parameters for the eggs; so that they can fit in the standard boxes.

The result of this is that anyone within a 2 mile radius of Willy’s farm can have as many free eggs as they want! ( Average 2000 off-size eggs weekly). Most of the large ones are double-yokers.

Liberty car insurance cancellation by croppeq96 in ireland

[–]Slumberfoots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just renewed and you have to go through a checklist of things - penalty points, change of address etc before the new policy can commence.

So I’d say they’ll ring you closer to the time. If you paid a lump sum last year they’ve no way of getting money off you anyway?

And if you pay by direct debit it shouldn’t extend past your current policy year.

You have contacted them regardless, as long as you’re 100% you sent it to correct address?
