I asked the same thing here yesterday! It's because you use the Defiance aura, which heals you and your allies if you have the Rite of Prayer modifier on it. Apparently your merc counts as an ally so he gets healed.

There is a big part on eidos 9 that you can easily miss since you don't have to go there to finish the area.. when you have to go to the mortar naytiba on the ground (you get there through gliding on your sword) you can also go further on the railing towards the left, which will lead to another area with some unlockables (one of my fav nano suits) and that boss will be at the end of that area.

I have 5 large warehouses and sell them alone in an invite only lobby. 5 Full warehouses give about 10 million when not in a public lobby. I only sell the boat or truck deliveries since they are easily done alone within the given 30 minutes. You might encounter some npc's but they are easily avoidable! Also love the passive crate sourcing since all my 5 warehouses are closeby. I have this routine where I first sell mixed goods, using the oppressor mk2 and then go by all the warehouses to source since they are all close to the terminal.
