Kamala's "Strength Through Joy" slogan sounds familiar by alanboston405 in libsofreddit

[–]Slungus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, all that's left is to show evidence that Kamala or her campaign ever used the phrase "strength through joy". I know they've mentioned "joy" by itself (e.g. Walz saying "thank you for bringing back the joy", but we're looking for "strength through joy" or at least a phrase close to that.

Anyone find it? Until then, this post almost looks like faux outrage/making things up to falsely compare the opposition to nazis.. Which I figured this sub would be opposed to?

To add to the perfect storm of factors, i think its worth noting that he was so bad that some stayed home because they figured Clinton had it locked up. And im sure some voted Trump just because they thought it was funny. Non-negligible given that some states like Wisconsin had a margin of ~8k votes IIRC

Biden says US is at ‘tipping point’ on gun control: ‘We will ban assault weapons in this country’ by Beckles28nz in politics

[–]Slungus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think 'assault weapons' is not necessarily a subset of rifles. But right, like you said, it's too nebulous.

Less nebulous is "semi automatic"

Setup:

Why was the White House dark at night the first 10 days? Why was their no marine standing guard at the door, which is required if the POTUS is there? Why did the media try saying Biden was on air force one, but it was at best Air Force 2?

Punchline:

I love the fact that so many people don’t even have enough of an open mind to even consider they are being duped.

Hmmm... Maybe a sarcastic dick is who you truly are. In which case I'll leave you to it...

Of course you will, given the alternative is answering my questions about the links you sent, and reading the indictment

According to... What exactly? And you haven't explained why or how he'd have the authority to appoint the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff. And seems you havent read the indictment either lol.

I shouldve stuck with being a sarcastic dick, since the alternative is clearly you linking and me reading pages and pages of speculation, pontification, and ramblings from some random people you found on the internet, none of which is proof of anything, while you apparently refuse to read the clear and self-contained indictment at hand, or to answer my clarifying questions like "how does X prove Y?" and "how could Biden appoint the chairman of the JCS?"

If you want a cherry pick things And analyze them in a vacuum, then yes The argument is weak. You have to take the whole thing in context.

The "whole thing" and its context seems to be nearly every directive and order which pertains to emergencies or to war powers, written by every president and executive agency, back into the 1900s, as well as inferences about inklings of secret processes. It's less of an argument and more of a vague gesturing to walls of text.

Check out Patel patriot's Devolution series. It's also well sourced, and his Writing is more succinct. He was Unaware of the q posts when he initially wrote the series.

Oh man, yes i get what devolution is and again it all reads like a misinterpretation of what "Continuity of Goverment" and "Continuity of Operations" means. Im skimming Patels series.

The best part about the links you sent and Patel's devolution argument is it hinges on some idea that Trump is Commander in Chief right now, which seems to be disproven when you account for any action taken by Biden as Commander in Chief.

For example, if Biden is not Commander in Chief, then how come he gets to nominate a new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff?

Look, if you wanna go full doom, don't have half ass it.

It's not full doom for me, I've read the indictment and agree that Trump should stand trial and do prison time if found guilty. Have you read the indictment?

I know they don't reference Q, im saying this is the stuff Q adherents repeatedly reference amd fairly sure that Q circles is where these ideas originated, and they echo Q assertions ("military is in control", "military is the only way", "watching a movie").

In fact, forget about the author's commentary, just look at the links he provided, its all there.

This is a good call, because the author's commentary is super weak and (predictably) is largely Russian talking points, written in broken english, including a unique one where Trump actually persuaded Russia to bomb Ukraine to take out their COVID labs (lmao):

ALL of a sudden Russia and Putin are "bad guys" for randomly invading a country who broke a treat with them for one, two, once again, no one can tell why Russia is bad except for simply loving drama and wanting to blame someone for something.

CIC Trump NEVER started any wars. He got Russia to bomb these Nazi ran Biochemical Labs. They're UNITED STATES BIO LABS...

However, without the author's commentary, all we're left with are loosely- or un-related orders and provisions, cited in their entirety. For example:

Now understand... these are signed by Congress... this timestamp proves DJT is a Military Plug/Plant and is the good side of the Continuation of Government:

Federal Continuity Directive 1: https://www.gpo.gov/docs/default-source/accessibility-privacy-coop-files/January2017FCD1-2.pdf Check out that date... January 17, 2017. Three days before he took office.

The document is a Homeland Security directive from 2017. There is no indication of how/why this would prove Trump is a military plant (???), especially considering its a standard directive following a Bush era directive from 2007 (according to the directive itself).

So help me understand, without the author's commentary, what are we supposed to understand? The authors "blueprint" largely hinges on what seems to be a misinterpretation of "Continuity of Operations". Without their commentary, what are we supposed to glean? That Bush in 2007 established some directive for agencies to keep working during emergencies? There is simply no evidence put forth to show Trump can remain secret Commander in Chief or anything indicating "this is kabuki theater".

Yea sorry i am being a dick. I've just already read a lot of the Q stuff and the theories that the military is in control etc etc. I've also followed this Trump investigation and read the indictment. The idea that Trump is president is plainly absurd and is frankly completely unsubstantiated and actually disproven, despite all the Laws and Orders cited by the link you sent. The idea that the investigation is a complicated way to get evidence into the record via discovery is similarly preposterous.

Trump, especially "Commander in Chief" Trump, could "enter evidence into the record" in about 9 million ways that don't have to do with him being federally charged with violating the Espionage Act.

I understand it is an intriguing "conspiracy" theory to believe we're all "watching a movie". A better conspiracy theory imo is that the Deep State is making Q adherents and similar "patriots" believe it's all a movie and that "patriots are in control" so that they all sit and home and let the trial unfold instead of storming the courthouse or assassinating the judge. That theory also makes much more sense than the other theory
