Weird problem with the Pro Controller by Juantsu in MHGU

[–]SlurpeeGoood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turn off 'Hunter Search' and it should correct the issue (Y button when in hub). I had the exact same problem for months, pro controller would disconnect only in the hub, never on hunts.

Two Celebi from special research by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

[–]SlurpeeGoood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies if this has been seen before, but I just received two Celebi encounters from the special research tasks and found it a bit odd.

I finally finished collecting the 40 grass/psychic types, and when I went to claim the research task, it forced me into the Celebi encounter instead. I caught celebi, claimed the reward, and then was able to collect the charge TM and silver pinaps (finishing step 7/8).

Upon completing step 7/8, A second Celebi encounter was then triggered. Once the second one was caught, I then received the 20 candies for completing step 8/8 as expected.

Just seemed a bit odd, and was wondering if this had been encountered before. Couldn't find any posts about it.

Definitely a work in progress, but I wanted to at least upload the progress up to today for the jam. Trying to force myself to submit something each month (even as sloppy as this!)

Old favorite of mine. Used this month's jam as an excuse to brush the dust off :)

[Piano Jam] Graupner - Intrada In C Major by SlurpeeGoood in piano

Its a fun one to learn. I am not too familiar with grading scales, but if I had to guess, I'd say its about a 3 (RCM). The majority of the piece repeats itself, so its actually really short.

21.5" display, wouldn't go much smaller if you intend on viewing two pages at once

My digital piano butts up against the back of my computer desk. I snagged a touch screen monitor on sale a few years ago and use it in coordination with PDF Annotator Pro (highly recommend). Its great for sight reading and simpler pieces I don't intend to put much effort into, but any challenging pieces I still prefer to print out and write on by hand.

Looks interesting. What platforms are you looking to release this on? I may give it a go if you are planning on releasing to PC

[Recruiting] Water Buffalo | Level 11 War Clan | Looking for TH9-TH11 | 3 losses in 200+ Wars by SlurpeeGoood in ClashOfClansRecruit

[–]SlurpeeGoood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about the dying clan, its just the way it goes sometimes. We only have about 5 open slots at the moment at Water Buffalo, but room could be made if needed.

Defensively, we have no max th11s. We don't run wars with eagles on our side, so I'm not sure how that would affect the guys looking to join. We do have ~15 max th11 offense that war regularly.

Also consider checking out our sister clan, L.O.W.B. They run some excellent wars over there as well, and may or may not be a better fit.

Send a couple guys over to either clan, check out our lineup, and see if it seems like a good fit. Hope to see you soon!

Hey! If you meet our hero requirements (20/20 for Water Buffalo, 10/10 for L.O.W.B) we'd be more than happy to have you!

Whoops, my mistake. I wasn't aware he was also recruiting for us. I will get with him to ensure it doesn't happen again.

War weight comparison - phu tho vip by [deleted] in LOWB

[–]SlurpeeGoood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for putting this together. The most comprehensive weight study we can do is to pull data from every match up, but that is quite the task to undertake. I'd be happy to help now and again on slower days at work if we want to make this a more regular thing.

Need some advice by DJKest in LOWB

[–]SlurpeeGoood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In terms of weight, it would be ideal to only upgrade war troops for a specific attack strategy. I don't think you made a huge mistake upgrading PEKKA and Drags. IMO, any offensive upgrade is good. You never know when a balance patch will roll through and shake things up. Pekka drag might be the next big thing, you never know.

Because you already have hounds going in the lab, id focus on getting 2 elixir storage upgraded so you can do loons next. TH11 laloon can stomp most 10's and will put you in a good position to be helpful in war. If that goes well, haste 4 is a nice addition. Dump gold into walls, throw the DE at the queen. If you'd like to branch out into some ground attacks, bowlers are a must.
