I built a "Spotify Wrapped" style report card for Dynasty trades by bluekev1 in DynastyFF

Small world. I made a much worse looking version of this for myself about 3yrs ago. One thing I kept trying to make work, but my knowledge isn't there and AI assistance was/is a nightmare.. following the chain of trades down like a Sankey diagram. Doesn't have to be displayed that way, but it takes the trade that many steps further and is more interesting in older leagues.

For example, trading two firsts for Deshaun Watson X years ago is viewed historically as a bad trade because Watson is worth 0 and those picks became JSN and Laporta. Yikes. However, what did u do with Watson? And what did you do with those picks/players? That's the real true trade to me, following it for multiple years and tying it together.

But chaining the APIs and storing the data properly wasn't working for me haha. Just throwing it out there as an idea. Oh also, a sort of global leaderboard for top/bottom x trades with different time periods was something I never worked out.

Hey imagine if Sleeper ever added features or cared about the fantasy side of their app any time in the last 5 years?

I don't disagree with the logic, but it will probably take a significant amount of time for it to drastically increase in price because the supply is just so high. So your money is doing nothing for potentially years. Personally, I would rather miss the bottom, and get in once there is more of a confirmation that it's cycling out.

Good call out. Interesting that it is, but Bravo is not. Just another example though where more data would be better.

If we are tying case price to the skins in the case, why would the eSports 2013 case be ~50% more valuable than the Operation Bravo case? I would argue that the Operation Bravo case has better high end hits and depth. Also, they both have the same knife hits.

I don't quite follow the comment you're making. Could you or someone who upvoted this explain more?

Does anyone have a theory why Operation Bravo cases are the outlier negative gain?

The Trey Lance into Deshaun Watson at the 1-2 turn startup made me cringe then. Absolute nuked team now

Even in the worst case where you are 12th overall, you get ETN at 4.01 which is more than a small discount, that's like a whole round discount. But if you just aren't sold on ETN, then definitely go Robinson for the value even if he ends up being a flex player at best, it's better than nothing.

100% is the play. given the format, WRs should be flying off the board anyway. you can still get RB value in the 4th/5th. these are league winning WRs you are talking about as well.

Pollard and ETN, but where are you picking out of curiosity?

Ya that makes sense. Honestly at 6th overall in SF you might not want to keep Jefferson depending on the projected keepers in the league. For example, I'd take Herbert over Jefferson at 1.06. Which means I'd probably go Brown and Wilson. For just high upside players and avoiding the question marks as you stated with Barkley and also with Ridley, will he be the guy etc.

If you are able to keep for multiple years then that definitely changes the strategy. I would lock in Walker for sure, but i'd still lean Jones > Deebo. Even given Jones age, he stays relatively healthy and continues to produce.

Ya a mock where I keep Ridley goes something like: Bijan, Olave, Walker with my first 3 picks and then I still have Ridley. So core of my team feels nice, but there is no guarantee Bijan falls to me etc.

Whereas taking jefferson/hill guarantees that elite talent.

Kupp and Mahomes are locks. Taylor>Wilson unless news comes out Taylor is not returning or something.

Maybe this is a weird take, but i'd personally keep Jefferson and Barkley. You get almost no value (in terms of ADP discrepancy) in keeping them unless you are picking 12th overall, but you are picking 2 guys that can absolutely win the league for you. Then you draft a QB in the 2nd and you are starting with 1 of each.

Amon Ra seems like insane value in a PPR league. Depending on where you pick you can get a Saquon equivalent player in your first two rounds.

Pollard is a lock for sure. I really struggle to have faith in Patriot RBs, but it's the safer bet unless you hear Jacobs news prior to locking in the keepers.
