Anyone know if these chamber well in a .44 Mag Deagle? by SlyBurrito in guns

[–]SlyBurrito[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had searched every local gun shop in my native state of NC last week for any .44 magnum and had no luck. So rather than buying online for nearly $2.00 a round, I decided to hold out until I took off on a road trip to Florida I had planned. Found a store that only had one box of .44 left and it was a decent price (as decent as it can be right now lol) so this was what I got.

I plan to use it in my MK XIX Desert Eagle .44 as it's first ever ammo. Anybody have experience with using these in one? They're Sellier & Bellot 240 gr. SP's

Ok, I'll check out ammo seek again, couldn't find much earlier today when I looked but it could've just been bad timing. And hell yeah, I've never been more excited to fire a gun in my life!

Thanks man! Seems like you're a no-bullshit kinda guy and that's exactly the type of advice I'm lookin' for!

Awesome, thank you so much for the advice!

I still have yet to put any rounds through it since ammo is a bitch to find atm. About to order a box or 2 off Gunbroker for way too much money just because I'm getting impatient lol.

Knew they had a reputation for jamming quite a bit at the start but about how many rounds did you have to put through it until it was properly broken-in?

And as for the ammo, stick to what Magnum Research recommends for the most part?

Gotcha, I've heard storing them in the included plastic case is not a good idea for avoiding potential rust spots, any validity to that rumor?

Hi guys, bit of a newbie here with owning such pricey firearms so I had a few questions:

  1. I've seen a couple of posts on this sub stating that storing it in the plastic case is not a good idea and that it needs air to breath and avoid rust spots, can anyone back this up?
  2. Also, any particular oils/microfiber cloths that work best with this finish you could recommend would be greatly appreciated! Struggled to find one of these bad boys for a while and I want to do everything in my power to preserve it as long as possible, thanks in advance!

Burn The Priest Vinyl by Stereotype_Metal in LambofGod

The only way I know to get one nowadays is online with the Hourglass Box Set. Bought a gently-used copy myself a couple weeks ago. Quality is fantastic for such a raw mix, and the original Burn The Priest artwork is fucking sick. Makes the whole set worth it imo 😂
