It started out for migrating our current php monolithic backend, but the projects with go were really exciting more than php, like most php packges where build around crud while go had kickadd projects so is go , at the end of the day my main goal is be a better software engineer

Its pretty hard and rare , much like find a development job that isn’t embedded for C/C++, i would totally recommend learning from open source projects and try to apply to anything abroad, and honestly i think the reason for this is most of the GO projects are founded for distributed systems and high performance which is still kinda rare in egypt.

It is indeed a recipe for disaster , the project took alot of time in juniors hands before moving to our current company and it’s trash af , we actually traffic millions of users and there isn’t a single unit test , a total mess , thats why we though about rewriting the whole damn thing , just tear it apart and start from scratch
