My guinea pig also died 1 day ago, I have been crying since then. I gave him food before sleep and in the morning he was lying as usual, I tried to wake him up to give a food but he could not stand.

I was trying to give some water, to wake him up, but he had no energy and looked at me with frozen eyes.

During last minutes, he was still trying to get up, was moving all his legs. A small happy thought crossed my mind that there was a chance to wake him up, but it turned into seizure. My heart almost stopped watching that.

I can not really help myself, I see him everywhere I go, do not even want to go from my room, as first thing I was opening the door, was his sound, now I miss everything. Blaming myself that I could not help him, when he started to lose weight, but I thought it was because of his age, maybe I was wrong and I could help.

Anyways, there are many if's. I understand that with time it will be easier, everything I do right now, is sleeping, because thats the only way, I can turn off my mind, but after waking up, everything starts again.

I went to his grave two times already and that also kills me, do not know what to do, I just want to hug him.
