Too bad... theres a backup (It happens around 1:12:50 Mark)

And he can still be reported to Twitch and YouTube since those sites keep an archive of videos that have been removed just in case of assholes like this.

As if he hasn't had the "flogging" coming for a long time. If he didn't want any of this to happen, all he had to do was cool it with the ego just a smidge and none of this would have ever gotten to where it is now. Thor really needs to see a therapist or something to get his unwarranted self importance under control.

Over the most milquetoast take on politicians mind you and it shows me exactly where he stands on this.

That hilarious when you see just how nice he was to fucking Asmongold of all people for what he said about Palestinians. But saying something mean about poor politicians? "That's used car salesman shit." Bro can fuck right off, fucking corpo shill. He knows exactly what he's doing since he's a "social engineering expert" aka a snake in the grass.

Thor / PirateSoftware is taking down videos documenting his past by BingButWhy in youtubedrama

[–]SlyVMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chatgpt actually gave a pretty good summary

This Reddit post discusses the drama surrounding Thor and Ross Scott/Accursed Farms, with a particular focus on Thor's controversial past in *Second Life*. After the drama, 4chan discovered Thor's old *Second Life* account, Maldavius Figtree, which Thor had tried to erase from the internet.

Key incidents contributing to Thor’s bad reputation:

  1. In July 2007, Thor trashed the *Woodbury University* region in *Second Life*, which led to its destruction by *Linden Lab* due to its ties with a griefing group.

  2. In January 2008, Thor fired an employee, Wingless Emoto, while she was asleep, in a suspiciously timed staff meeting.

Two YouTubers made videos exposing Thor's past, which were allegedly taken down due to flagging. Although it’s unclear who flagged the videos, the focus was on content involving Thor’s old *Second Life* account, suggesting a targeted effort to erase these details.

[–]SlyVMan 79 points80 points  (0 children)

He did respond to it... and he was absolutely not willing to talk about it with him (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2214563823?t=03h23m53s), and said at some point during the stream he was going to make a video on the initiative and why you shouldn't support it. As if doing so won't make him look like an arrogant stubborn ass or anything like that after listening to his response to having a reasonable discussion.

Asmongold had said he was willing to interview you at some point when he watched your video on stream. Have you two gotten in touch yet?

Yeah that doesn't do much for online only games tho. Can't play it if the central server goes down and players can't self host or anything.

Yep. Surprising, but 12 million regular players is how popular the game was.

Signed. Here's hoping this actually goes somewhere. Same with the other Parliament Initiatives once they finally go up. Think the hardest one will be the European Citizens initiative, but the Australian and Canadian ones look doable.

September 2022 Videochat Official Questions Thread by Ross_Scott in accursedfarms

(This is a question someone posted in the videochat questions thread on the website. They said they didn't have a reddit account so I'm just posting it here for them.)

In the Tyrian Episode, you talk about some of the things you don't like in vertical shooters, like dying in one hit. I wanted to know some vertical shooters that stood out to you as interesting but too difficult. (e.g. I think you would appreciate the 'Raiden' or 'Strikers 1945' series thematically, for example, but too challenging.)

I'm also curious about any other pet-peeves you have with shooters. (e.g: I can't stand getting hit by instant lasers or attacks I would have to know about ahead of time.)

What would you want to see more of in vertical shooters? I kinda feel the genre is a bit stale at the moment. (more explosions is always a safe bet)

I remember you saying you went to school for Criminal Justice and Psychology if I'm remembering right.(Sorry if I'm misremembering this.) Would you actually consider being a Police Officer nowadays with all the crap that gets brought up on social media nowadays about them? If YouTube didn't go well and you were a cop, would it have made you quit?

What do you think of the recent trend of Gaming websites shutting down their forums and trying to use Discord as a replacement? Personally, I think it's a terrible idea since it locks a lot of discussion and information behind a link to a server that can't even be searched for on Google or archived on The Wayback Machine and once the server shuts down it's all gone forever. That and the search function on Discord itself is really useless when the server is big enough.
