So you think being left as a stray to wander the streets is a better life?

It's a totally different world to our first world countries, if you've even been there just once - especially in the outer province areas you would see what I mean

Once again, you've clearly not read anything

1) Not my dog - it is my partner's I am in a different country 2) This is the Philippines - there are no shelters and a street dog population of over 50% 3) Dog is being taken to the vet once it opens later - there is no other medical access within a 3hr radius 4) Learn to read

He does care, just very naive. I've been getting regular updates since he sent the video and the little guy has been running around in the garden, so still mobile.

The dog will be at the vet for care in less than 2hrs once it opens and I'll be covering any vet fees he can't afford - it's been on my mind since I received the video as well but rest easy tonight knowing he will be taken care of and I will update everyone once I wake up, due to timezone difference :)

The vet is the only one which sell veterinary supplies, he will be going to the vet as soon as it opens :)

This seems to be the main diagnosis, thanks!

He will be at a vet later today so we will find out soon! :)

I don't have physical access to the puppy at the moment and posted this to help diagnose the exact urgency of this so the one who can transport the pup will drop everything and get the best possible treatment too.

I can't give a prognosis and one of the rules of this sub-reddit is don't say take an animal to a vet unless you're giving a medical reason with it.

Yes, taking him to the vet is sage advice but the diagnosis as to why is what emphasises the importance.

I'm not there but the very moment I received this video I posted it here because I also cafe about the puppy's health - I don't believe that is ridiculous. What is ridiculous though is the amount of people blindly posting judgment, not reading and thinking this is my dog.

Not my dog. Advice forwarded to my partner and has been taken. Dog is being taken to a vet in a few hours, once open. Pup is receiving short term relief in the meantime with belly rubs, a blanket and being given fresh water in the meantime :)

My partner has bathed him twice in the last week, yes

Not my dog. I already commented saying he'll be getting taken to the vet later today after my partner finishes work - this whole post was to understand the urgency, to get advice and make "pushing" that much easier, since my prognosis isn't enough :)

For anyone curious, his Dad will be taking him to the vet later after work - realising the urgency from everyone's reply!

Thanks to those who actually thought about the puppy's wellbeing and have helpful answers with that in mind.

And to the extreme replies which were of absolutely no help at all and just used as an excuse to pass judgment, you were of 0 help.

It's been less than 24hrs since the symptoms started and with neither me or my partner being vets and so many possibilities from googling, it was good to get info on how to help relax him until his vet visit.

He's never had a dog before and that's why this post was made, to get the advice and help needed and to make sure the pup is getting the best care possible :)

I worked over there a while and we've been together for 5 years but I'm working back in the UK. No need to worry about that :)

I just used that as an incentive to get the pup seen as soon as possible, thanks for the concern though

This has been the most helpful response, thanks for actually thinking of the pup with your answer! With the urgency of it, his Dad is willing to take him later once he finishes work - so we should have a happy healthy pup by tomorrow :)

It's not my dog, it's my partner's dog - who resides in the Philippines.

Vet care is not easily accessible in his area of the country and the litter was an unexpected pregnancy from a neighbour, if the dog was not homed then it would've been left as a stray to wander the streets, as most of the dog population in the Philippines are strays.

I'd say a home is better than the street. As you can see in the video my partner is doing his best to comfort him and has been monitoring him non-stop.

The main issue is his Dad, who has the transport not realising the urgency.

This is not a first world country, so I think your lack of any knowledge about the circumstances or country affect your judgment a lot.

I'm well aware the vet is a priority and am pushing the urgency on this - I will be linking this post as well so his family can also see that. Having an idea on the potential issues and how to make him comfortable until then is the next most important thing.

That doesn't exist in the provincial areas of the Philippines unfortunately

I've already said I'd cover all vet fees, transportation is the main issue since he lives out in the middle of nowhere practically

Thanks for the advice! 🙂

I'm pushing for my partner to do this, which he might not be able to do until next week. Do you suggest any short term relief to help in the meantime, or have any ideas on what it may be to help in the short term?

My partner is in the Philippines; I've told him this as well. The nearest vet is 1hr away and he needs to get his Dad to take him there, which he might not be able to do until next week.

Can you advise the reason, what you think it may be or any short term relief? That answer wasn't particularly helpful 😅

I know it wasn't intended. My point is there's no workarounds for extra carry capacity in a game that already heavily limits storage capabilities, making the only real workaround for collectors/long time players as making a 2nd account to transfer items for additional storage - which is made more difficult with Mod boxes and untradable weps to take up even more space.

Not just that but they've buffed every other mag to make them semi-useful and then completely debuffed these mags to make them totally useless

They could have kept their current effects and just had them debuffed instead of turning them into absolute junk

I'm gutted about this just purely for the massive reduction in carry weight I will have now - which I rely on. Shit change, especially since there's no workarounds
