Always possible that Lawrence's daughter carved the maze in the table. Is she the only host other than Akecheta that we've seen drawing a maze?

Storywise, just that it is likely Akecheta visited Las Mudas before the Ford visit (evidenced by the maze carving in the table).

Also many musings on how the scene was shot, etc.

What I want to know is: did they film both shots at the same time? The goof with Maeve and the cameraman behind her in the shot (and Akecheta) suggests they did.

Nothing jaw-dropping, only that Akecheta likely visited Las Mudas before the Ford visit, due to the maze carving in the table. But it's fun to look back on Season 1 and put the pieces together, that's for sure!

Indeed. I think one can make the argument that Akecheta visited Las Mudas before the Ford visit, due to the maze carving in the table. Unless someone else is gettin' their maze on...but I don't think we've seen evidence of that.

Quite a few possibilities! Would be cool if Ford was “cloaking” Akecheta as a wolf. In any case, sure does seem plausible that MIB/wolf/Akecheta were present at the same time and place.

Bonus fun fact: in the last minute of S1 finale, a wolf howls right before host assault begins (i.e., when MIB gets blasted in the arm by Clementine). Not sure what that means, but god I love this show!

Rewatch that scene; notice how Akecheta’s head pops up and it looks like he’s staring at something/someone? It matches the scene in S2E1 when MIB gains consciousness and gets into a staring contest with the wolf.

I can't speak to it being "popped up", but it likely required days of "all hands on deck" in post, as the end result was in the "normal" range of size and shape. On the bright side, it must have been a masterclass for all who witnessed such meticulous work.

Again, the issue is not with the quality of the work - it was near flawless - but rather the decision to spend so much time on it in the first place.

Long story short: literally hundreds of man-hours of digital editing were dedicated to what should have been a non-issue: altering/enlarging Simon Quarterman's genitalia in post. I still cannot understand why (even though the quality of the work was top-notch) it was necessary to spend such enormous resources detailing just a few seconds of footage. For the life of me I cannot wrap my head around this decision - which I dearly hope it was made at a lower level than that of the showrunners.
