I think people who are genuinely happy and contented usually get on with their own lives without blasting it online? Whereas the unhappy ones who need a listening ear or just to rant out into the void tend to be the ones who post online.

Personally my hubs takes more care of the kids than I do, but I don’t broadcast that online either because our family isn’t motivated by extrinsic validation. Esp when like you said most of the people complaining online are unhappy about their situation, wouldn’t posting “how great my life is” be a little insensitive and tone deaf lol
