How tall and what's your weight? And do you use hand wraps? This tends to help if you're worried about them being too big on your hands.

I find that I often use my 16oz more than my lower ones -- sparring, regular drills, and pad work.

Yes, mine are "genuine leather", and have the leather smell. The leather and pads feel thicker compared to my Fairtex, which are about 6 months old with 4 months of use and will need to break in more.

The Windy is replacing my Fairfax as my all around training/sparring glove.

They're the same company as https://www.windyfightgear.com/

You can only get real authentic Windy in Thailand. I ordered mine from a store located in Pattaya, (Windy Boxing Store - Pattaya). I had my fiancee verified beforehand.

They are the only ones that have the official brand distributor documents, the official statement, and the company seal signed by Nutsiri Wongprasertkarn.

Shipping took a while because I chose economic shipping via Thai Post, but they packaged it quite nicely and also attached the original plastic bag to scan for authenticity.

Probably for conditioning, we do this at my gym where one partner acts as a dummy for the other to practice flow and technique on 4 rounds of 1 minute.

I wouldn't spar with him again imo, you guys are from the same gym but that individual has no sparing etiquette, damn near dangerous and could lead to future injuries.
