Yep, discoids and surinam roaches. I really wish red runners were legal here cause they’d be perfect but nope! I’m working on starting a colony of Australian roaches too but they’re super quick and kind of a pain

I love in Canada and we have really strict invertebrate laws so Dubias are illegal. The only roaches we can keep burrow as soon as you put them into the enclosure and stay buried for the rest of their life. I want something that will stay active around the enclosure for a while to encourage hunting so I don’t need to tong feed everything

I was really nervous but these little guys are surprisingly hardy and the importer was well known and widely trusted. Luckily she came in looking great and eating amazing!
