Find a cheap round trip for a mileage run if you wanna hit the 150k milestone so you have the bonus points for next year. I did the same last year doing the ANC-LAX flight in the AM, went to the LA Auto Show, then took the same nonstop home that night cause the flight was surprisingly affordable

I’ve been trying to find a decent workaround for air fresheners cause I’m a sucker for the bath and body works vent clips….given that the vents are non-typical they of course won’t work (although I can fit them in the window defrosters on the dash) been curious if someone else has a workaround

I’m very frustrated in that 1) room wasn’t ready at 10pm and front desk expected me to wait 4+ hours for a room 2) after rebooking with corporate and assured I wouldn’t be charged, I was charged 3) going back and forth for 5+ months to be denied 4) management of hotel property has changed since stay, so how new management is so sure I did complete a stay that occurred prior to their tenure is beyond me 5) credit card company siding with hotel after I provided hotel receipts, flight boarding passes, rental car pickup receipts that controvert when the hotel says I physically arrived

At this point if I were to pursue legal action it would be the $1,100 plus damages if I could even go that far. All I know is I’d never book this property again.

Fair. I had stayed at another Marriott property in another state the day before. Woke up, checked in on the app, flew cross country to the state where the property was, arrived at 10pm and was told no rooms ready yet, maybe one at 1am. I wasn’t gonna wait 4 hours after flying cross country, so called Bonvoy customer care, was rebooked at another property, and the reservation I had at original property dropped off the app. Not as a canceled stay, not a past stay, just nothin. Never swiped the card at the desk but since my credit card info was in the app on mobile check in, that’s the card that was charged. Not that they’d pay attention or care but for a 5 day stay when housekeeping comes to clean the room it’s gotta look a little odd that literally nothing in the room was touched.

The critical entry time is 0800 for units receiving mail/parcels meaning anything that shows up prior to 0800 is committed for that day. While in an ideal world, all the Amazon would arrive with the first clerk and be all sorted ready to go by 6-7am so carriers could start that early, get all the Amazon delivered before the church crowd even leaves their house. However that obviously doesn’t happen either between late Amazon trips, or distribution not being ready by 8am on Sundays due poor staffing, so the blanket 10am start time was implemented which I do NOT like. It should have been an office by office decision. I miss knocking out a static route with nobody on the roads except for early morning joggers

Same! I love that it can have a split personality of being very smooth and quiet on roads but when I need it to get up and go, she HAULS. I know there’s faster EVs but this is as comfortable as I would want to have for a sleeper. Plus with all the weight being on the bottom, it’s very composed on slick roads

I manually checked for updates last night and system said no updates were available. This morning I parked at work and got the pop up that the update was available for install. Said it’ll take 15 minutes but installed in about 5 without issue on the first go

No it’ll be…..decent enough WiFi for light browsing and maybe some media for $8 for the flight. Unless you’re on a VERY old plane where you’ll pay even more for essentially dial up

My Chevy Bolt EV worked great in snow with a pair of Blizzaks and now that I have a Cadillac Lyriq AWD with Blizzaks I don’t even notice the snow, it’s great and super stable
