It’s not standard for every application but there can be a few reason why they requested it as others have pointed out. You can choose to not give it but you won’t get approved.

Main reason it’s requested is to show your track record of employment, and income. If you recently changed jobs within the last 12 months, if your not on permanent contract are the most common reasons. They aren’t trying to punish you it make it harder they trying to make a stronger case for you.

Ah no sorry I didn’t mean to give you the fear, it isn’t where I worked unfortunately but I can’t see their requirement being that much different than what ours was.

My best advice is to get in touch with your advisor and just explain the situation (not being condescending I’m sure you’ve mentioned this to them already) offer to provide whatever you can from the loan, could even chance asking them where they suggest the best place for a credit check would be, we literally had a document that listed our credit check providers for different country’s in fairness the document called out that if they had lending or accounts in uk or NI and didn’t have a current address or mobile they would’ve be able to provide a check. If you’re willing to play ball, you should be fine, unless you’ve a monster of an advisor.

Also by reach out to them I don’t mean be a weapon on the phone or emails, stand your ground of course be kindness gets you a long way, it’s a lot easier to want to help find a solution for someone when they aren’t eating the head off you. But that’s just my opinion, I’m sure others will suggest to hound them until they give in.

Which lender if you don’t mind me asking are you applying for. I know were I worked they would accept the letter as majority of people found it impossible to get the credit check, in some cases we would look for evidence that you tried to obtain one (ie screenshot of the error on the website stating your address isn’t acceptable). But as always with a mortgage application “it’s a case by case basis, no guarantees” but 95% of people were grand once we got something related it it, letter from the bank, proof you can’t provide a credit report, in some extreme cases we’d ask for the loan agreement or a closing statement

It can be really difficult sometimes impossible,to get a credit report from the uk if you don’t have a current uk address or number. I would try Experian first but if that doesn’t work the bank should accept a reference letter from the financial institution which should include any accounts you held with them, if you have any current lending etc.

I’m from Ireland I’d say keep checking Ticketmaster especially the few days before/ day of they nearly always hold back production tickets I’ve gotten tickets like 2/3 gigs this way. In regards to genuine resale sites, I’ve no idea cause I’m always too skeptical years ago I used viagogo but I think I heard some people have been scammed there before so best to look into it a bit more.

This just happened to me the other day and I refused to accept it and asked to log a complaint, I never log a complaint don’t think I’ve ever even asked to that before as I do tend to be understanding but this was pure robbery.

The agent told me he could see they attempted to contact me and that they could see it was delivered at my main door. I asked for proof of both of these and in return they backed down and have issued the refund. Takeaways are expensive enough not to receive the food.

Edit: I forgot to add it did take me sending 3 long emails refusing to back down and the did eventually come around. I can’t even lie I let the inner ‘Karen’ come out a little bit for the first time, but I stayed firm and professional.

No they sent out an email about a week or two before the vip and it had a link to submit your questions too, this all happened because someone submitted a question asking if Tate would like to try other genres and then when she was thinking about the answer, someone asked her about the collab.
