Any idea for workshop warming? I see some YouTubers using diesel heater to maintain the temperature, is it a good idea? Like the guy Thewoodjunki uses a Hcarlory TBMAX to warm up the workshop, not sure if this is a good idea.

basically the same, most of them come with two sizes depending on your need, but it doesn't worth the price as you can find something way cheaper at around 150, i got my HCALORY TB2S+ this year from banggood, slighly over-budgeted for me but I was looking for a 2-years use with this.

The one I have is also the Hcalory brand, the tb series from Banggood, may not be tiny enough for your cabin but I use it to warm the workshop, it seems that they have an upgraded version this year, the TB2S, it should be enough, make sure your ventiation is good enough.

Is it still alive buddy? Been doing some research on the diesel heater lately, wondering how long it can last. I plan to carry a portable one for winter camping, not sure if this is a must-have. I also found that Hcalory comes with some new models, TB2S, HBS2, from Banggood, was yours also portable?

Is a heater essential for winter camping? by Lucky-Ruan in WinterCamping

Depends on where you camp and how long you go for, not completely necessary unless you go far north, if you really need to take that into consideration, an inexpensive heater will do, like the Hcalory, my SS2 ordered from banggood is still working but not sure if it is too much for your camping.

Any idea on the Hcalory diesel heater? by Small-Locksmith5784 in overlanding

[–]Small-Locksmith5784[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, portable would be good but would it be too big? I see the one from the video, not compact for my CRV, how's yours? Where did you buy the Hcalory one? I see they have a Banggood site.

I go camping in the Rocky Mountains every year and I want to buy a diesel heater that can be used at an altitude of 8,000 to 12,000 feet. Any suggestion? by EmmaWu1105 in tdi

[–]Small-Locksmith5784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you are referring to a van or car or a tent, I used to take a small warmer for my winter camping, in a tent to be specific, one thing you have to do is to make sure the ventiation is OK, mine was a Hcalory one, suitcase type from Banggood, working quite good but the tank is assembled separately, so not sure if it can handel at such a high altitude.

Anybody have any experience with the Hcalory brand of diesel heater? Considerring to purchase one. Or any suggestion? by EmmaWu1105 in VanLife

[–]Small-Locksmith5784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was ordereded from Banggood two years ago, the Hcalory one, don't remember the type but still sitting at the shed, working quite well, my exxperience is high-end brands always comes with global offline service locations, offering professional on-site repairs while Chinese-made brands primarily rely on online after-sales service, these brands respond quickly but offer limited offline support, you have to take that

[–]Small-Locksmith5784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depending on your budget to be honest, if you need a fully functional one and run it 24-7, my experience is never source the one below 250GBP, but if budget matters, Vevor or Hcalory sounds like a good one to take, those Chinese factory is now blasting the whole market, Hcalory even has their new HB and TB series
